I mean, technically in this case, the metric measure could be incorrect and should be somewhere around 40g...but I have no way o knowing which is the incorrect measure in this case.

Thank you all for the quick replies and the helpful information. *laughs* This is why I started weighing my food from the start...I knew from having cooking over the years that the standard U.S. measure was highly subjective.

Thank you all for the clarification! This has been very enlightening information. I did not realize that MFP uses a different "formula" than TDEE. How exercise is accounted for and how the goals are derived makes sense now.

When you use the "replace" function, does the entry that does not have a brand, "Generic", or "Homemade" mean that is a USDA or other non user-submitted entry?
