Great initiative! I joined MFP two weeks ago and this looks very promising. My goals are to get fitter and healthier in the next few months, looking to shed 25-35 pounds for this. Great Idea. I've done the same for a week or two, and I learnt a lot of things about my dietary habits. The main takeaway was that I really needed to track late night snacking. Also I became aware of emotional eating. I would grab a snack and when I stopped to take a photo, I'd realize that I was not actually hungry.

As @JulesMT said consistency is key. You could estimate the meal information as much as you can and make sure you Keep Logging. I eat a lot of homemade indian meals for which nutrient info is hard to find but the process of logging has greatly helped in portion control in the long run.

I've been trying to keep up with a low carb diet too. It's hard to go old turkey with carbs, the most practical way for me we to cut out sugar. It's amazing how many products have sugar in some form or the other. I'm sure the dependency on pills will come down, all the best!

This is great! For me so far its been Me : 2* LNS 2 Getting an early dinner has helped control LNS. I've been using the gym at night, which is good since this makes me thirsty instead of craving for snacks.

Hey folks! I just found out about this place last week and I'm stoked to be here. Looks like a great place for my daily dose of motivation. My goals are to get become lose body fat and become leaner by the end of this year :)
