Thank you all for your advice. The general trend seems to focus on discipline and will power, setting realistic targets, be detail oriented in the short term, and keep on top of caloric intake/output. Hopefully sticking to my game plan and seeking support from platforms like MFP will keep me on track the next 12 months+.…

First post on this site. Hoping to find a group who can keep me on track to lose weight, as everyone in my group of friends - in the real world - seems to have a P90X body, and doesn't understand the grind.
