Gym? A gym isn't needed either. I've never set foot in a gym in my life. It's just another trendy thing.

Calories from fat are just fine. Fat is good to eat. I lost 40kg eating a high fat diet.

I got fitbit and myfitnesspal to communicate again but there is still no option for adjusting negative calories. I even changed my units to calories from kilojoules just in case. This is super annoying.
-
I only turned on mapmywalk the once, while I was walking, it then took about 400-ish cal off my daily fitnesspal allowance (sorry I work in kilojoules) when I did a sync. Hmm frustrating! Thanks for all your ideas and I will update if I ever fix it.

I did do so but that was about 6 months ago (fitbit charge HR). I've disconnected myfitnesspal from fitbit. I'm trying to disable negative calories, I want to use mapmywalk and it's minusing a lot because I don't have it active all day. I'm only wanting to track purposeful exercise, so if I go for a nice brisk walk etc.

I've tried the computer and just logged in via the browser on my phone. Yes that is where I am going but I don't sedan adjusmenr option. I must be blind!

My resting heartrate is usually 48bpm and I'm far from athletic!
-
No kilojoule option sucks. Not everyone uses calories. Looks cool apart from that!
-
That's handy to know! Awesome.

I haven't been able to sync between MFP and fitbit for probably 2 months now, so frustrating!

I'll have to try this for myself, I have gestational diabetes so always testing my sugars anyway.
-
Same issue here.

Maybe it seems minor because I have c-sections to compare to it, and my gallbladder wasn't deseased etc. The gallbladder surgery was a few hour thing with just some tiny holes, as compared to my entire lower section cut right open and 4 day stays in hospital. I also had the stones for 8 years, so that many years of pain…

I've GAINED weight since starting the GD diet (I had GD last pregnancy also) as I had to up my carbs. I've eaten low carb since Jan 2015. I'm not going to panic if I put a bit on, but there is pressure from the health professionals to try not to. My blood sugars are perfect :-)

I don't see fat, I just see loose skin and perhaps a bit of muscle building needed. You look amazing.

It's such minor surgery now. I had mine removed in 2013, was home again 3 hours later. Sure it hurts a bit for the first couple of days but I found that I felt better rapidly.

Yeah I guessed as much. I thought I'd give it a few days to see how it felt. My numbers seem good but I just don't feel right. I haven't been eating the 20g of carbs per day that I used to for ages now anyway, but 180g is insane. I don't don't see how that is a reduced amount, it sounds about what most people would eat…

I did see the diabetes nurse yesterday. On one hand she was amazed at my hba1c (was a 28 which is under 5%, I know different countries use different units to measure it). Gone DOWN from 31 at 6 weeks of pregnancy. But, she's terrified ketones will destroy my baby's brain... Her plan is 185g of carbs per day, low fat and to…

I'm in! I have gestational diabetes, I am finding keto hard (impossible really) during pregnancy and don't want to do it any more anyway. I still need to watch my carbs though obviously. The balance is so hard :-(

It took me 8 years to conceive my son, and a good 14 months for my second child. I don't know if it was the low carb or what, but this baby showed up while using contraception and barely having any sex! Just thought I'd update that baby (girl!) is growing just fine. Had a scan at 21 weeks exactly and all was measuring…

I had THE WORST morning sickness this time, I didn't get it too bad with my other kids. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis at 7 weeks. I finally started to feel better about 15 weeks and went off the medication. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and have my anatomy scan then, keen to see how baby is doing. How are you doing @Tanukiko?

Hello! I'm 19+1 today and REALLY enjoying a low carb pregnancy. I'm 33 years old, and went from 115kg to 76.4kg before becoming pregnant (from Jan 2015 to August 2015). Sadly I flew right off the handle, lost the low-carb plot, got some problems with depression and put on weight again. I got to 86kg just before getting…

Definitely was the oil - I repeated the experience, being the idiot I am, haha. Probably oil + coffee + having eaten nothing for ages.

I'm 14 weeks and continuing to lose weight (went nuts and gained a fair bit during first tri). Have two kids already, was massive with them and ate junk food the entire time. So even losing weight this time I'm getting way more nutrition. I am 83.9kg now and hope to be about 72kg near the end.

MFP is extremely un-generous if you ask me! It gives me 1200, no way would I eat that low (4'11" female). My very minimum is 1700 on a day where I'm not too hungry. I lost a lot of weight under another username last year, from 115kg (256ish pounds??) to 74.6kg and only ate that low at the start. I went back up to 87kg over…

About 20-30g.

Not counting calories on LC absolutely works, if you are wanting to maintain your weight. Your body doesn't generally want you to lose weight, so I find that takes more effort.
-
Soup, soup and more soup. I have bad morning sickness and I am living off soup/broth. Pork crackling is tolerable too.

Congratulations!! I'm also in early pregnancy, I'm not doing keto because I don't feel that there have been enough studies into keto and pregnancy. I have to do what makes me feel safe and happy. I'm having a moderate amount of carbs, about 70-90g. I don't think I even count as low carb now. I'm also upping my exercise to…
