  • Hmm.... My whole post before that disappeared
  • Another thing....I walking average of 6 miles a day at a fast pace for my job.
  • I've tried more than one package of sticks :/ I really think it's me. Also, yes I track my calories/carbs fat in MFP. I don't go over 1300 a day
  • Oh wow! Thank you. I will ponder this now:)
  • Thank you! I'm going to look into this.
  • Last weekend at a dinner party, and again at Super Bowl, I had seltzer water with lemon and a lime, (in a nice wine glass natch) and then one night with four frozen cherries in it. It felt so festive, and honestly I didn't miss the alcohol at all!
  • The statistic I found was 4 carbs in 5 ounces. Not bad. But actually surprising. I'd be scared to believe that in such a sweet wine. But maybe! I think that's for sweet red not summer red. Myself, if I wanted to have a couple of glasses of wine a week I would work that in. I feel like this is a lifestyle not just a diet…
  • I know that red wine is the better option than white (dry red) but unfortunately the statistic on MFP cannot be accurate. That type of wine would be very high in carbs I'm afraid :(
  • I'm sorry....what is mct? :/
  • Also I really have to agree with this advice! I was feeling that way yesterday it was awful. Anyhow I got the sodium tablets, I had broth, etc. today, I'm completely better better. Everyone had great advice :)
  • So you say not magnesium oxide? I didn't know there was more than one kind. I'm reading the bottle I got it says magnesium 250 mg. I'm guessing this is the wrong stuff then?
  • I don't know about the dogs, I don't have any, but it seems like the bones would be pretty soft at that point. I just throw my bones, an onion, carrots, celery, garlic, salt, tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, fill three quarters of the way with water put it in my pressure cooker for 90 minutes. So much easier than…
  • But I don't even care! To not feel like I felt yesterday is well worth it! Plus I know it's only temporary
  • Yikes that's probably why I was up two pounds today!
  • I also made a bone broth last night)which I actually do all the time) in my pressure cooker. Which is so ridiculously simple. I did chicken (I just used a chicken carcus from a Costco rotisserie chicken we had eaten)because I hate the taste of beef bone broth. Nom-nom paler has a super easy bone broth recipe if you google…
  • In the organic section of Wegmans, (or in any health food store I imagine) I picked up bullion in the soup aisle. No msg, nothing harmful. I think it has like 1020 of sodium in half a cube. So that's good! I also got organic 'better then bullion' that you can make your stock out of. I feel very good about both of those…
  • The amount of energy I feel today as compared to yesterday I can't even put words to describe. But something super annoying is the scale is up today! I promised myself I would stay off the scale. But darn it, I didn't! I don't know why and less it's all the sodium. And I drank a ton of water yesterday
  • I decided to try this and I did 1:40 seconds! I was happy with that for my first time. I will say that I find an elbow plank to be much more difficult. I did the fully extended one this time. I'm excited to have something to build on!!
  • Oh my word cream cheese pancakes? What is that, sounds delicious! I get what you're saying about the eggs. I feel the same way sometimes. Most times actually.
  • Guess what?? I had 8 salt packets at work. (Disgusting) and had an entire cup of broth which had like 2000 sodium in it (and about a 1/4 tsp of Nu-salt) and I feel like a new woman. The fog just disappeared. I am so happy. I also got a magnesium supplement which I'll take tonight. So curious how I will feel when I wake…
  • Thank you! What is Mio?
  • You know, I just thought of this. I wonder if there could be a correlation. Last week every single day I went downstairs to the cafeteria and had one over medium egg and three slices of bacon. This weekend I didn't eat any bacon at all. Bacon is so high in sodium I wonder if just that one thing made difference and when my…
  • Thank you so much for the input! I am going to go to the drugstore later. In the meantime I'm going to open some salt packets at work haha. I'll keep you posted. I really hope it works
  • That is so encouraging to hear :) I agree that fundamentally it truly isn't the right way to eat. I just find that otherwise I get calorie obsessed. In my heart I know clean eating is the right choice I just need to commit to that and force out of my head that low carb is the only option for me. PS. I do know what…
  • I agree, Tosca Reno is my favorite when it comes to clean eating!
