I wish my arm muscles could just hang out without having to do anything... Livin' the dream.

Hey, that's about the weight I kept getting stuck at the first time I started trying to lose weight on MFP. (I'm also 5'4.) What eventually worked for me was being super consistent. I don't do low carb or anything like that. But, I did have a bad habit of having an "all or nothing" mentality. Try logging every day, even…

Yes, I do. I'm another daily weigher. I go into it with the knowledge that I'm probably going to be up in weight for a few days. It's the overall downward trend I'm after anyway.

I just go back to eating my normal way, because eating in a healthy way is for life. It's inevitable that I'm going to "mess up" from time to time. I'm not going to dwell. I suppose I might also consider whether I have been restricting myself too much, which is what happened last time I went waaaay over my calorie goal. I…

I weigh daily in the morning after going to the bathroom and use the average for the week as what I think of as my weight. I do go up and down in weight from day-to-day but as long as my weekly average weight is going down, I feel pretty good.

I want a margarita on the rocks with salt on the rim... Or 3... But I'm a light weight now, so maybe just one. Oooo, and large amounts of chips and salsa.

Fantastic!

Coffee's good.

Hey, so I see you went to exercise class and I admire you for that! If you ever feel like taking a rest day instead but still feel like fitting in some gentle movement, I recommend a Yoga With Adriene for Cramps and PMS on YouTube. When I'm having a particularly rough TOTM, it helps me. I even do it in addition to other…

This one is actually pretty petty, but my mother-in-law likes to make remarks about "being fat" when you're not doing some crazy diet like whole30 (she means not eating "on plan", I think) and I want to prove to her that counting calories is much more sustainable and reasonable. She has regained 20 pounds since her rounds…

So, my loss isn't as impressive as yours, but I've lost 39.5 lbs now, and am within a healthy bmi. I was pretty confused and frustrated about why the scale wasn't budging for me anymore as I started to get within about 10 pounds of my goal weight. I started using a food scale at the numerous suggestions made on the forums,…

Yeah, how often are we supposed to post?

My hubby told me last night "you're really getting some great back muscles".

What I think: they make you poop a whole lot. So much, in fact, that I was unable to finish the cleanse. Yes, I was young and gullible once, but I have a better understanding of how things work now, and spending 14 days on the toilet is not going to make a meaningful change in my body... Well, at least not the one I'm…

Ice cream, cake, donuts. If it's sweet and delicious, I probably love it.

Accurate, once I realized I couldn't handle the whole 1200 calorie thing. I got on the forums and read a lot of posts and realized I needed to slow down my weight loss now that I'm in a healthy weight range. Now I'm rocking 1360 calories a day (plus half my exercise calories when I feel like it) and losing about a half a…

Thank you guys! I'm looking forward to it!

This is fantastic and articulate advice. *claps*

I have a hard time meeting my protein goal too and I'm lactose intolerant, so I like the Orgain protein powder blended with a frozen banana and unsweetened almond milk as a snack after workouts. Be sure and weigh the banana though!

I'm in for 10,000!

Get back into the 120's for now. (I'm at 132.)

This is gloriously easy! I am so doing this from now on. Thank you!!!
