Due July 30. :) I didn't gain weight forever because I was so sick. Now I realize that I need to go back to tracking calories/exercise because it's coming on too fast (less than 5 lbs still, but I am only supposed to gain 11-15). Wish me luck! I'M HUGE!

I'm 25 weeks tomorrow and have gained less than 5 lb. Of course, I am obese to begin with, so that is okay. :) I'm supposed to gain a total of 11 - 15 lb. I'm pretty sure that if I don't get this peanut butter craving under control, I'm going to have a hard time keeping the pounds off.

I'm due July 30 with a boy. I have 6 other kids ranging from 2 to (almost) 18. I was obese prior to getting preggers so am trying to control ye olde weight gain during the pregnancy. I have gained about 3 lbs so far at almost 22 weeks. It all came on at once, so I'm scared I'm just going to gain more and more and more…

Like others, my water gain was more like 4-5 pounds. Don't stress and just weigh yourself in a few days. :)

A nonfat skinny vanilla latte has low cals, I have been told. I always get a coffee with no sweetener at all.

Trying adding beans to your diet. Black beans, kidney beans, etc. I made an omelet this morning with 2 eggs, beans, onions and salsa, and couldn't finish the whole thing. I add them to my salads too. Because let's face it. Salad is NOT a meal in and of itself and will not stick to your ribs. I also don't eat much red meat.…

No one in their right mind is going to advise you to lose weight while pregnant. If you're really overweight like me, however, they will advise you to control your weight gain. My last pregnancy I was about 65 lbs overweight and she told me to try to not gain more than 15 lbs.

Absolutely. It's not about mothering, as someone said, but just simple respect. He certainly doesn't need your permission to go, but he should at least say "I'm going to be late" so you don't sit there wondering what's going on.

My ex had to get clothes for the kids and supply his own diapers and food. You don't even have to take him to court over this. Stop doing it and he will start stepping up.

When I worked outside the home and was doing this, I took a salad and then at lunch mixed it with tuna/spicy mustard/lite mayo. It was soooooooooo good and satisfying. I also took a piece of fruit or two for a snack, and sometimes a fiber one brownie for the afternoon choco crave. :D

I do not agree with the "Just don't answer his calls/texts" advice. If you're old enough to date, you're old enough to tell someone you're not interested in dating them. It's not easy, but it happens all the time and everyone survives it.

Both are great suggestions! I'm a Zumba addict and am about to start the 30 Day Shred tomorrow to get quicker results. I should add that up until I tried Zumba a few months ago, I was a COMPLETE couch potato for a lot more than 7 years. :) Best of luck to you!
