I was making my children milkshakes a couple of nights ago and purposely made extra....uh...quite a bit extra....and downed it right out of the blender bowl. Chocolate chip ice cream has never EVER tasted so good.

I haven't seen that, but I think it's kind of funny! Just one more thing for people to get offended about. I guess as a fat person, I am allowed to feel fat and not be offended. Another confession: I roll my eyes at EVERYTHING that people decide to get offended about on Facebook. And chuckle a little bit. :)

Jillian MIchaels workouts are on YouTube. The 30 Day Shred has received a lot of attention because it's 20 minutes and has some quick results. I've also heard good things about the Couch to 5K (C25K) program if you're interested in running.

Thanks for posting. Lots of people take something, most won't admit it on the boards. ;) I agree with you. It very well might be what the OP needs to help keep the cravings at bay while she learns about diet/exercise, and gets some of the bad crap out of her diet. I think you are supposed to weigh yourself weekly. That said, I find weighing daily keeps my motivation up, so that's what I do. :)

When using syrup, I use pure maple syrup instead of sugar-based syrup. Might try adding that to the batter.

I so feel you. Over a year ago, I found Zumba and deep water aerobics, developing a love for both. I went to Zumba 5x/week and Deep water aerobics at least once a week, but usually more. If you eat mainly whole foods and are still gaining, you might need to go back to counting calories. One thing I did recently that boosted my weight loos quite nicely was give up sugar and flour. I still need to count calories, personally, but I know a lot of people don't when they are eating clean.

Nah... I had popcorn and coke the other night at the movie and and just ate better the next day. I generally don't have sugar or refined foods, or tons of carbs, so that was a HUGE binge for me. I don't care! I'm doing so much better overall than I ever have in my adult life that I can get past it WHEN (not if) I screw up.
