I keep it to a cheat meal. A cheat day can easily blow your calorie limit by 1000-2000 (or more!) calories. A cheat meal? Not so much. I also notice that the more I eat like crap the more I want to eat like crap. An entire day of cheat eating would likely leave me craving fatty and sugary foods the next day.

How do you know you ate 1158 calories? Are these all prepackaged foods? Are you weighing things?
-
1200 calories is low, but it just means you have to be mindful of what you eat. People on here like to argue that you can lose weight eating whatever you want as long as you keep the calories low, which is true, but if you don't eat the right foods you'll be miserable and will be more likely to binge or give up entirely. I…

I mean, the loose skin really kinda sucks but I remind myself it's not like it actually looked any better when it was filled with fat. I'll probably always have flying squirrel arms, and I'll just have to use them as a reminder of the habits and lifestyle I once had that I never want to repeat. I feel sexy buy buying…

I wanted to be a slutty mcskankpants of some sort, but nothing caught my eye. Instead, I'm going to be a modest Velma.

Another vote for the chicken sausages from Sprouts. All the flavors I've had were great, and they're pretty reasonably priced.

I would sing to myself, "I have become...uncomfortably fat" (to the tune of Uncomfortably Numb). It was such a hindrance in my life. There were two main catalysts to losing weight: spending over 20 minutes forcing an airplane buckle to just barely snap together, and then my biggest motivator, the passing of my father. He…

Sweets. God I love sweets. And when I eat sweets it just makes me want to eat more sweets. Like, I keep thinking that when I go to maintenance I just want to add a slice of cake or a bowl of pudding to my day.

@MeganBsr it seems like something happened to your reply?

Because my total day is only 1200 calories. 150 has seemed to be the nice, happy medium that keeps me happy until lunch but also leaves me enough calories for lunch and dinner. Basically breakfast has been the hardest hit for cutting out calories to meet my deficit, but only because it's where I could cut so many calories…

either 2 hardboiled eggs or a bit of plain, whole milk greek yogurt. I try to keep breakfast under 150 calories, but high protein/fat as that helps keep me satiated.

I'm actually considering doing some kinda 5k in the future. But for now I've only completed day 2 of Zombie 5k (basically couch to 5k, except zombies chase you). I'm really proud of myself for giving it a shot tho, as running has never been my bag. But for now all I'm really focused on is losing weight. I hope I can…

31" waist, what?!?! The first time I took measurements on this journey, I'd already lost 50lbs but my waist was still 42". I've dropped over 10" since then!

I work the same shift. I end up eating my breakfast around 10am, lunch is right before (or right as) I get into work, and then my lunch break during work is dinner time, usually around 7:30pm.

105 lbs lost so far, 25 left to go 275 lbs 170lbs

Another recent NSV: I finally like the way I look enough to show my face on Facebook. It's been 3 years since any photo of me has been posted there, and I've *never* submitted a photo of myself (the few that showed up, other people posted and tagged me). But last night? My facebook friends finally got to see my…

I go with plain greek yogurt, hardboiled eggs or cottage cheese. Ricotta unfortunately is like 2x the calories per gram of protein than cottage cheese. Cottage cheese 4% is 220 calories per cup, ricotta is over 400. With 25 and 28 grams of protein respectively.

My recipe is 1/4c oats, 1/4c liquid, 1/4c yogurt, 1/4c fruit (or half a banana) and 2T chia seeds. About 250 calories depending on liquid, yogurt and fruit used. Super customizeable and it made great oats every time. My fav oats were Mexican chocolate -- do water or milk for the liquid, 1/2 banana for fruit, and add 1t…

I eat 1200 calories a day and generally feel quite satiated. For breakfast I either have 2 eggs (usually hardboiled) or ~100g of plain full-fat greek yogurt. For lunch I often have a small turkey sandwich. I like using 1 piece of naan cut in half. I use avocado for my spread and a thin slice of provolone. Chicken salads…

Parsely, Mod Market, Mad Greens, Manna From Heaven's Food Truck idk, it can be really challenging to eat out, and often I prefer the chains just because I feel I can get a better grasp of their calorie count

@12Sarah2015 I noticed the link to edit the ticker is working again: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker/create

@12Sarah2015 Pretty much immediately after posting the link stopped working, and it still isn't? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker/create I'm going to go submit this as an issue, but that's where you should be able to set up a ticker for your profile. You can access that link if you view your profile in a…

Thank you all, you're so very kind :) I'm super excited to see what losing the next 25 lbs will bring! I was 160 by the time I entered high school, I've never been a healthy weight at my height (5'6") But one of these days I will be! I really would like to get to 150 after a year on here in mid-November.
