Boring salad with greens and chicken breast with super low calorie dressing. But tonight? Taco Tuesday!

It was closed down. People got pretty heated, throwing insults back and forth about whether people should just eat a normal donut or not.

When you add someone MFP does some weird thing where you can't comment on most statuses (or even like most statuses) for 24 hours. If this continues after a day or two, you'll probably want to contact the MFP team.

I feel sooooo close to 199 after being above 200lbs since I finished high school (34 now). Can't quit now!

@poppejennifer to add someone as a friend first click on their profile then click "add friend". Then click "send request", filling out the message box if you'd like.

I started at 275lbs and honestly, it took a good 40lbs before I saw results in myself and before folks started making comments. If you take frequent pictures of yourself (like in undies in a mirror) it can help prove to yourself that the results are there and you're just ignoring them.

When I joined MyFitnessPal in November I needed to lose 130lbs to get close to an "ideal" bodyweight. Today I'm just a little bit beyond half past that goal with 66lbs lost and 64lbs to go. It may sound daunting -- it sounded so daunting to me that I made my weight loss goal only 95lbs, but I'll be adjusting that soon as…

I really like using defatted peanut butter in my smoothies, both for flavor and for added protein. My favorite smoothie is ~1/2c frozen cherries, 6T PB2, ~1/2c plain greek yogurt, handful of greens Comes out to about 250 calories of pure goodness.

I'm a little Kirby, but one of these days I hope to be a lil more Lara Croft.

DOOOOOM!!!!!!!! <3 Still working on Fallout4 really, tho. I'm level 70something tho, so at least nothing can touch me.

I would have let him know that the issue is people making stupid judgements, not the weight loss, and that he needs to be having this discussion with the appropriate parties. You can also let him know that you have the rest of your life to look 20+, another year looking 15 isn't going to hurt anyone.

I can't believe how lucky I've been to find a diet that works for me around 1200-1300 calories/day. I never feel hungry for long (30 minutes maybe), have lots of energy and I'm not eating anything weird. A big thing for me has been to basically turn meals into snacks that I eat slowly over several hours. Almost every day…

"I don't believe in calorie counting, people just need to pay attention to what they each, and how much of it they eat." Those things are basically the same, except calorie counting just happens to be way more accurate.

Can confirm, @Alydalton is a most excellent MFP friend. Great, frequent posts and lots of positive motivation!

Since calorie estimates tend to be a little low and burn estimates from exercise tend to be a little high, a common rule of thumb on the board is to only eat back half of the calories burned. In theory should should be able to consume 1700 and still lose weight at the rate you seek, but the reality is you probably want to…

lol, I hope one day to be a much smaller success ;)

You've done amazing work in such a short period, great job! Keep it up!!

Witcher 3 or GTAV. I keep hoping Fallout 4 might join their ranks, but it's looking less and less likely.

My main non-vinegar go-tos are: Cottage cheese or yogurt with seasonings and a bit of lemon or Just a generous squeeze of orange

My diary's always open and I'd love new friends, add me!

I had a super tasty salad the other day with roasted sweet potatoes, roasted onion and currants on a bed of spinach. A little squeezed orange for dressing, it was so good! The next day I swapped the currants for roasted poblano peppers and added some corn and cilantro, and it was a new kinda super good!

I prefer to manually adjust my weight and have MFP recalculate my calories every 5lbs. Waiting until MFP does it at 10lbs is a scary shock of reduced calories.
-
Wow, what a huge loss! The first month can be pretty big tho, I remember losing 20 lbs my first month but only 40 more lbs in the 5 months since...and I swear, I've only gotten better about my diet and exercise. This is hard work! Relish those easy losses but be careful about judging yourself for slowing down.
-
It's going a lot better than I would have ever imagined, and I'm so disappointed that for so many years I was scared to try. But now I'm in it until I achieve a healthy weight and then I'm still in it until I can't MFP anymore.

I am still anxiously awaiting the day I can jump on a new MMORPG on ground level. I seem to come across and fall in love with these games ~5 years after release, which presents some challenges.

Anyone here do Geeks Who Drink or a similar trivia type game? Any suggestions on a team name for my team tomorrow night? Last week we were "Halal, is it meat you're looking for?" and the week before we were "Periodic Table Dancers".
-
Sure. Did you take a dump right before you weighed yourself or sometime between am and pm? Did you not drink very much water that day? I swear water weighs like 5x as much as food and tends to impact short term fluctuations more than anything.

I love Rudi's Double Fiber. It's 120 cals per slice but also has 6g of fiber and 5g of protein.
