Got a couple good new pics so I wanted to make a new post. 2015, 275lbs: 2018, 155lbs:

I work swing shift and end up eating lunch and dinner at work. It's not too tough if you bring things with and have access to a microwave. Do you?
-
Nice! I had sauteed mushrooms with ham steak, and a bowl of avocado mixed with some salsa.

Doing fantastic!!!

Thank you! I think that's what everyone assumed, including myself, all my life. The last time I was at this weight I hadn't finished puberty so I didn't realize I could exist as a woman as a size 6/8. My "program" was simply logging *everything* on MFP. Started at 1750 calories, now hovering around 1240. I eat tons of…

September 2015 at 290lbs: November 2017 at 155lbs: In the first year I lost 120lbs. It took all of the second year to lose 10 more. I'm hoping to lose another 10 next year and then hold steady. I started with 1750 calories and today probably average around 1150. I eat lots of protein, fat and fiber and try to limit my…

What's the benefit in losing water weight aside from having the scale read a lower number?

I like to mix cottage cheese with tuna. It's like a tuna salad, except I'm just adding more protein. 120g of 4% cottage cheese 1 packet of Starkist Lemon Pepper 2 Wasa Crackers And I have the base of an excellent lunch for only 260 calories with 34g of protein and 4g fiber. I like to pair it with some pickles and an apple…

Click "Settings" then "Update diet/fitness profile" and adjust as needed.

I'm sorry, I only did lowish carb -- I didn't do keto at all.
-
Woot! As of today I'm down to a normal BMI, 154.5 lbs -- just squeaking in. Still have 10 lbs to go! Also, I've done one week and one day of weight training. Tomorrow's another round of upper body stuff!

It's possible for me to stand in a way now that my thighs aren't just mushily mashing into each other:

I started right around this time last year (11/03/15) with 130 lbs to lose, and now I only have 11 lbs to lose. I always love new friends! When you start isn't going to matter nearly as much as how much you keep up with things. Just take each day on its own, little baby steps to the path of success. The fact that you're…

I'm so glad to hear you're at least taking a break. I know that at your age such a bold move would have been really difficult for me -- love is blinding against some really awful behavior. I hope that you eventually move past this guy, he sounds like a true turdnugget and I say that as someone who has a long history dating…

I have recently fallen in love with mixing up a banana with ~100g of cottage cheese, ~20g of plain yogurt and 2 TBS of chocolate PB2. It fulfills the sweet treats I've been craving like crazy while being a nice protein filled breakfast or lunch well under 400 calories. So, clearly I think they're A-ok.

Yesterday my boss approached me with, "Hey Skinny-Mini!" She's only known me since my first interview in July (190 lbs). I'm now 160 lbs. But having spent my entire adult life above 200 lbs, I didn't even realize she was talking to me. I told her I still wanted to lose 10-15 lbs and she asked, "from where?!"

Alright guys, I finally stopped into work a bit early and used their gym. It was really quite intimidating, the one guy in the room was super beefy. But, he was cordial and polite and didn't make fun of my flying squirrel arms one bit, and I was able to get some upper body and ab exercises in. On Monday I'll be back for…

I didn't really eliminate anything so much as generally avoided carbs and generally favored proteins. Absolutely nothing was/is considered off limits tho, sometimes it's just a small serving.

Not everyone can be vaccinated. Namely, infants, who are at the highest risk of lethality for some of these diseases.
-
Guillian Barre Syndrome results in an average of 630 deaths per year, mostly in the elderly. Influenza results in 23,600 deaths per year, or roughly 40 times as lethal as GBS. These deaths occur mostly in the elderly and the very young. Those who avoid influenza vaccinations due to the microscopic risk of GBS are doing a…

Yea I have every intention of getting to it, and have been doing a modicum of body weight training...but I just don't enjoy it one bit so it's been difficult to motivate myself.
-
I started at 1750 but as I've lost weight it has decreased. I'm now at 1200
-
Barely. Especially not for the first 3 months or so. Now I hike once every two weeks and walk 2 miles twice a week, sometimes I go biking. But 99.9% of my weight loss has been from calorie counting alone.
-
Thanks y'all! It's been a long hard year and I swear it's only gotten more difficult to lose weight, but boy howdy it's been worth it!

People get sick every year. People also get sick every year from illnesses that aren't the flu but they deem the flu. These aren't coincidences, these are things that are likely to happen every winter and people misascribing them to the flu shot. A coincidence is a set of circumstances without any apparent casual…
