  • Definitely watch The Cabin in the Woods if you haven't yet. Dead Alive, arguably Peter Jackson's best film, is also a classic horror/comedy film that should be seen by anyone who likes the genre.
  • Seems like all the Coloradans come from Cali these days ;) I'm in Lakewood myself. Tho to be fair, I didn't come from Cali.
  • Another vote for eShakti. They're fabulous because for just an extra $7.50 they'll tailor their clothes to your dimensions perfectly. I love this because stores like Torrid/Lane Bryant/etc are often too big for me in the boob region if they fit me over the hips/shoulders, eShakti is mostly dresses, but they have…
  • It looks like this is the product you're using: https://www.heb.com/product-detail/hill-country-fare-all-purpose-baking-mix/125319 You can see the nutrition facts listed on the right side which calls for 1/3rd of a cup. With 2 cups they're expecting you to make a lot more than 1 serving, 6 servings in fact. It sounds like…
  • Consider trying decaf on mornings like this. Decaf coffee still has quite a bit of caffeine (10-15mg vs regular which has ~80mg). However, because of the reduced caffeine content the coffee isn't so bitter. I find just the sugar in a bit of cream is enough to sweeten things and make for quite the 30-40 calorie treat.

That fills me up and is super convenient, and it's something I'm happy with eating every day, but I'll admit it's not very fun. For a more fun breakfast consider trying overnight oats. I would do: 1/4 c old fashioned oats 1/4 c plain…
  • Memento, great one! We all sell out every day, might as well be on the winning team.
  • I've been using MFP for about 5 months now, just joined my first challenge and would like to involve myself more in the MFP community. I just reached the half-way point for the first main goal I set myself, I'm sure the second half will take a bit longer to reach but I'm dedicated!
  • Sorry man, my formatting got a little funky and it's on the same line as the ginger. But yea, 1lb ground chicken total.
  • Is it full yet? If not I would like to join, thanks!
  • I have fallen in love with overnight oats for breakfast. 300-380 calories (depending on what all I put into it) and it easily satisfies me until lunch. I use: 1 T chia seeds 1/4 c old fashioned oats 1/4 c liquid (water, milk, coconut water/milk, juice, etc) 1/4 c yogurt 1/4 c fruit (fresh, frozen, dried, canned...pretty…
