How much are you still looking to lose? If it's already been said, I missed it; sorry. I ask because, as a female, you're going to have a little bit of belly fat unless you're severely dehydrated. Women just store more fat than men. I'm not talking rolls or anything, I know plenty of healthy girls with very flat stomachs,…

http://www.active.com/running/articles/running-shoe-guide-for-dummies And to beat the horse a little more, TAKE IT SLOW. I've literally crippled myself by not following this advice. Sometimes it's frustrating, you may want to go harder and farther than you know is entirely good for you, but that's how you end up with a…

Lightly active for sure.

New shoes are always a pain, but I think it's mostly the fact that you're new to running. Don't go too hard too fast, it's a high-impact exercise and it'll take your body some time to adjust. I recommend using the next 2-3 days to recuperate. If you're trying to tone as well, get in some lifting and let your ankles/legs…

I'm also nocturnal, add me! Best advice I got; live, eat and work out like any diurnal person, just account for the lack of daylight and remember that meal prep/pre-logging makes it SOO much easier to stick to your calorie goals.

This is not normal, it's extremely dangerous, and 100% non-sustainable. As was said before, your blood sugar fell through the floor, which is what contributed to the dizziness and headache. The weakness is your body demanding sustenance, because you need to eat enough. Trust me, I understand the feeling of "I need to lose…

Every calorie counts. There is no such thing as a "free" calorie; they all add up the same. Naturally, some are much more nutritious (apple vs. cupcake, for example), but the simple science is, if you consume more than you burn, you will maintain or gain weight. I think fruits and veg are really important. If you want to…

Protein is important, but it's the healthy fats that are really going to be vital when treating someone who's been severely underweight. Most 'average' diets get plenty of protein, and the recommended daily intake for anyone who's not trying to build a lot of extra muscle is only about 10% of your total daily calories…

I log every fluctuation. It can be frustrating when the scale is going up, or bouncing back and forth like an excited toddler. But it keeps me accountable, reminds me why I'm paying attention to my portions, reminds me that yeah, I DO need to hit the gym, or at least take a stroll around the block.

Egg "muffins". Scramble eggs and add whatever veggies you like, a bit of cheese, pour into a greased muffin tin about 3/4 full. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, until tops are just starting to brown. You can then wrap them up and stick them in the fridge, warm up the next day, and there you have it.
