  • When you sleep your in a fasted state. I think with fasting like every other way of dropping fat, you have to be consistent. If you have a few days where you eat abit too much just reduce intake for the next few days and get back to that sweet spot. Dropping 1/2 - 1 lb is fat a week. I understand that protein shake breaks…
  • I'm too sensitive to caffeine so I stay away from from tea or coffee. I'm used to the 10minute hunger pang in the morning. It's nothing. Walking to the gym takes my mind totally off it.
  • Nice, good progress. I like to eat before I go bed. I workout fasted in the morning. I sometimes have a protein shake before and after training which adds to 300cals, if I feel strong I'll just have BCAA's. Even though I've been intermittent fasting I've ate abit much lately so no loss, but I'm building good muscle. In…

  • I Don't think of 'eating windows'. I would just recommend pushing your first meal around 5-8 hours into the day. You have to find your sweet spot. Mines 6 hours, I may have an apple 5 hours into it, lightly breaking it but still feel like fasting. Then I eat a light meal, (6-8 egg whites, plantain, hot sauce....my ideal…

I've still got a way to go but I just wanted to help others who are struggling to shift fat and want to build lean muscle. But I changed the format of the…
  • Intermittent fasting lets me stay in a calorie deficit and still enjoy social meals (big social meals
  • Original post : Counting calories is a fun part of the day for me. I used to see it as an annoying and time consuming chore. But once I changed my mindset towards counting calories my body changed and reaped the benefits!! I really enjoy the process of counting calories now. The fact fact I know I'm in a calorie deficit…
  • Indeed! Do you feel full and satisfied throughout the day? You should. If not you may be going abit too low on the Cals. But it's totally normal to feel abit hungry for the first week of being in a calorie deficit. I like the idea that I know I've got space for a big meal and still be under hehe
  • IF is a great lifestyle. I love it. However, if I'm training I make sure I have BCAA's around 20mins before to prevent muscle breakdown (which can often happen training fasted). I have to admit I sometimes have a protein shake before training (which technically breaks the fast), but I've recently did some research and…
  • That's great to hear. I like to eat big but also know I'm not overeating. Counting calories lets me know if I'm really in a calorie deficit. :D it is the way forward!
  • Haha that was a joke. Although concentration does use calories.....
