Yes, like everyone else says, fluctuation is pretty normal. In order to see if I'm reaching my goals or not, I weigh myself at the same time every day (in the morning, before I eat or drink anything, after I've gone to the bathroom). You've got to have a piece. :) If you say you can't, it makes it harder to stick to your plan. I like to eat 80/20 - 80% of the time I eat super well, 20% of the time I have the cake. ;)
