you have to set your mind that you will only eat a certain amount of calories and work out at least 3 days a week. this is the only way that is working for me. I watch what I eat and workout for at least 1 hour whether cardio or whatever you want to work on just move...good luck

the accuracy between the calories on a machine do not match the calories on the fitbit, and I too like the sleep log and seeing the number of steps achieved in 1 day. I have the fitbit surge
