@Michieb125 - Congrats on your success this month so far! I like how you also track the less alcohol days - I’m gonna try that, right now i need every bit of success i can muster. @SparkSpringtime69 - lol, I celebrate in the same way, and feel like I am just celebrating getting through the day. I need to set the bar higher…

Last week was busier than usual, was good about keeping to my 10 oz limit until Thursday, and then the flood gates opened - so woke up at 4 am Friday am, in my typical post bing hangxiety attach. I am so disappointed in myself. then i spend the next day giving myself all the negative self- talk. After reading the other…

You all are doing so well, and I really am inspired by all the folks that have a set-back here and there, but pick it up and keep moving it forward. For a long time I thought success for improving my relationship with alchohol had to be limited to something rigid like no more than x amount per week. I've decided success is…

Good Morning All - I've been following this thread intermittently for the past couple years - back when I decided to start to make some changes with my relationship with wine. I love it too much! Since then i've tried various apps, joined some facebook groups, read some books, and continue to reinforce that alcohol is…

Good Morning- I just turned 50 this year and have been with the pal since 2017. I’v been inconsistent with tracking these last couple years and want to get back on the wagon. Looking for motivation from other like minded folks. Cheers to 2022! Looking forward to a happy and healthy new year!!

Hey All- So happy to have come across this group! I’ve really been off the rails for two long. I think I’ve only had a total of < 8 AF days in 2021- eek. I’ve think I’ve finally got myself in a good spot to get myself back on the rails. Goals for this week is to have 3 AF days. Ultimately I’d like to get it to 5 days per…

This looks like a fun group. I am needing some motivation to keep up my cardiovascular conditioning while training for a powerlifting meet. This looks like a great group to help me keep myself accountable. https://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w8GHJS5/exercise.png

I find it useful to use tools to track stuff. A couple years ago I was heavier than I had ever been despite consistently maintaining physical activity. I never have, nor do i now believe in diets, but I do believe 80% of wt loss/body comp improvements is due to what I eat and 20% due to activity. When I was ready to do…

Wow! So glad i read this thread! I am hungry all the time. I have lifting for about a year and as i have made gains in strength my appetite is following suit .i am trying to keep my daily around 1500, but am struggling to not go beyond that. Any good suggestions on fiber or protein dense "snacks"?

Count me in. I have been lifting for about a year with my goals of getting lean and developing strength. I am going for my first powerlifting competition this spring- so any words of wisdom and encouragement are always welcome.

Same as the post above, i use protein supplements to help me meet my protein targets. I do track and try to meet my macro targets and frequently fall short in macros. I have a mix of supps. I use quest bars, which is my preferred as they have relativly high protein and fiber; low carbs and calories. If i need more calories…

Based on what I've read/heard from body builders, I agree with the above post. All are pretty inaccurate even the "professional" grade ones.

Congrats! You are my inspiration!
