  • @quiksylver296 Not to be rude, but that depends how much you weigh currently. Example: If I weighed 200lbs and all I ate was pizza and ice cream, then I'd expect to lose some but not hit my goal weight of say 130. Because after a while my body will start to maintain according to what I am eating.

  • Listen, I've tried this diet both ways. The food I put into my body absolutely DOES not work if let's say I eat pizza and candy within 1200 calories. Carbs alone won't make us fat, it's the carbs and fat mixed together that makes weight armageddon.
  • @stevencloser So it's really a problem if I'm doing all I can within my power to try to eat healthy and stick to working out? I asked for suggestions on something to replace butter because I know it isn't something I should continue to do. I don't have the money to do everything 100% correctly :( Not my fault.
  • @janejellyroll Because I honestly feel full. And eating straight up bologna with no bread isn't very tasty. Eggs...not sure how to explain. Just the taste, but i'll manage to get it in. I wouldn't consider myself a picky eater at all, but when dieting gets involved you have to be sometimes.
  • @TavistockToad This isn't about eating things I don't like. Not at all. It just so happens that the things I like are not healthy for me and won't help me lose weight. I DO eat some things I like. It's just repetitive and gets boring. I also will have cheat days, so no big deal.
  • I have no problem eating, hello? I wouldn't be overweight if I did. I'm trying to avoid things I know that do not help me lose weight. Like pasta, breads, candy, chocolate (I LOVE). I have no issues with veggies, especially broccoli and green beans. @juggernaut1974 Come on dude, that was a total joke. XD

  • Oh and one more question. When low carb dieting and intermittent fasting, are you supposed to get sick? Like more than once each time I start doing theses things I'll get sick at night and almost feel like I need to vomit while I'm trying to freaking sleep. Any solutions?
  • I'm also doing intermittent fasting. I have a 4 hour window period. Thanks for your suggestions, I'll just have to stick to 1000 calories til I can figure out something else. @janejellyroll I have hit plateaus before. It doesn't take 6 weeks for me, more like 2-3 weeks. It's why trying to get healthy, fit and eat well…
  • I'm 4 days back into low carb dieting and it seems that I'm already in a plateau! MFP says that I should be eating 1200-1500. Well everyday I'm only getting about 1050.

  • My carb limit is 16-20. Most people can get by around 50, but I'm extremely sensitive to it. I don't eat toast, and my access to veggies is limited atm. It sounds gross, but it's not too bad. I just wish I didn't have to do it.
  • @deedapar That's awesome!! I've been doing HIIT off and on for 5-8 months. I also use FitnessBlender! Sadly, my results haven't been as great as yours, but I'm getting there.

  • I'm 125.5 atm and my periods seem to last longer since losing weight. Odd, right? Maybe once I get to my goal weight, it'll calm down.

  • @kami3006 I disagree that I'll be unhappy at any weight. I'm going to give myself a better chance to eat better and not care what negative people I have in my life. I'm doing this for me after all. I'll get down to 115 again, and should be happy. I think I've come across as way too self loathing.
  • Plus, the one thing I do have going for me is the fact I have A LOT of muscle. My body's got potential, I just have issues getting there :)
