Is there a reason my last two posts on this thread have to be "approved" before posting? There was nothin negative at all

My BMI is 24. I don't like the way I look at this weight (141 lbs 5 ft 4 in) - 44-year-old female. I agree more with the Ideal weight calculator. It says I should be anywhere from 119-129 lbs. I have a small frame so agree that I would feel and look better at lower weight range.

Lol, I'm sure there is

I see and hear the same things. Maybe we should start a group of people that do not want to eat processed foods, that can understand different things are going to happen to your body if you eat vegetables instead of cookies.

Gotcha

I agree, it does matter. I've see literally 50-60 posts in the last week that claim it doesn't matter what you eat, just as long as there is a deficit. This is something I have never heard before coming to this community. First off, there are quite a few things I can't eat as it screws with my autoimmune disorder. (Will…

LOVE Traverse City! I miss Michigan. (The west side of the state anyway). I'm not a huge fan of Oklahoma

I would love to have a reduction and lift. I always wonder how bad the scarring will be though. I've seen some nasty scarring from reductions of patients trying to breastfeed. It was like an upside down large "T" on both breasts. As for me it would totally be cosmetic, those scars would be a huge disappointment to me.

Yeah, it makes me want to just get one that attaches to my pants.

I wear my Apple Watch at work, and I am almost always surprised how few steps I walk in a 12-14 hr shift. Does it measure my arm swing more do you think? Does it measure because of increase in heart rate? I feel like it measures well when I'm on the treadmill but I definitely pump my arms with my steps.

What are "doms "?

People are doing so great! I'm jealous that so many are reaching their goals for this round. I definitely am not as far as weight, but I've been happy that I've been working out and have lost a pants size. Keep up the awesome work! Maybe next round I can join everyone else with an actual lb loss.

44-year-old female This is my first round... Sw- 141 lbs This round goal - 130's UGW- 120 lbs 8/31 - ugh ! 143. Lbs - why?? Why did I gain? I'm going through a bad flare with my Hashimoto's. Makes my joints hurt terribly. But been measuring everythingI eat and everything is non-gluten and organic. I have increased my water…

44.

Welcome! I also am a military wife! I'm also an RN! Although, technically, I'm old enough to be your mother...

You can do it! Just take one day at a time. I like to not only weigh myself, but measure myself too. Week by week you may see small changes that will only become big changes over time. Keep going! It's hard work but worth it! I get discouraged too because I have literally not lost any lbs, not even an oz in the last week.…

I would never suggest "spot reduction of fat". But you can't tell me that working out your calves is going to define your back and abs. You still need to work out your core to define those muscles along with the rest of your body.
-
So... are you saying we don't have to workout our core?
-
^ This and core workouts. Pinterest has some links to some good ab and back exercises.

Omg! Thank you for saying this! Because even though I'm telling myself this, it is still a downer to see my weight stay the same or increase when I felt like I've been doing pretty well .

Honestly, the vacation I'm taking in 3 weeks.

I just continued to workout normally while breastfeeding. Cardio and weight training. Lost all my pregnancy weight, then some.
-
My question is, how do you weigh as much as you do when you never even reach 1200kcal/day? Something isn't adding up. You may not be measuring your foods correctly, or simply not logging them at all. hope this helps.

There are different ab muscles, so maybe one day do transverse, the next day do obliques?
-
I would (and have) pass out if I did this. And I'm not diabetic.
-
I don't know. Today will be the first day I am not going over my allowed calorie intake which I have actually set for 1500 something. I originally was trying to do 1200. I worked out actually for a couple of hours today 40 minutes walking on the treadmill then 20 minutes running on the treadmill then some weight training.…
