I started Contrave a week ago and the first 3 days were ROUGH. I had horrible nausea and headaches. After the first few days everything started to even out. Even in just a week I find that I am not obsessing about food. I need to work on listening to my body now. I find if I go to long without eating something…

Today I can say I am angry. I am angry because I have done everything right, I have been a responsible citizen, a faithful wife and now I am the one who has to be the adult and clean up the messes. It makes me angry and frustrated. While I watch him go off with his girlfriend"his new love" and I have to pick up the pieces.

I am going through the exact same thing. I am 35 my husband is 36 and he decided he needed a 23 year old girlfriend that he decided to hide for 6 months. I actually signed papers today to initiate our divorce. It has been a horrible experience and I am so ready for it to be over. The first thing I did was find my support…

Keep up the good work everyone!

I like to set small goals for myself and not all of them have to do with the scale. For instance I just increased my step goal for each day and when I meet that more days than not I increase it again. This is my indicator that I am getting fitter. I also have a goal of getting to the gym 4 days a week, to work on muscle…

Congratulations, that is a huge success!

Keep up the good work everyone!!! Remember it is a new week, we can do it. Live life, find joy every day and remember your goals even when they seem far away.

I am the only one that can be responsible and take care of me, I haven't been. I don't need to bad mouth my ex, his decisions are his and I have no control over those decisions. I have to let it go for my own wellbeing.

For me, it will very much be a gain. All I ever really wanted was a partner. There is a difference between being supportive and wanting the best for your wife and being critical and cruel.
-
Sometimes I wish the forums just had a like button, way to go!!!! That is a huge success.

Thanks, I am very lucky in that respect. Just may mean I am not as present as I would like to be here. I am still getting in my steps and trying to watch my diet. So far that hasn't been a problem because I have zero appetite. Makes it nice in the weight loss department, I just don't want to regain my appetite and forget…

I log religiously and track everything, life circumstances have helped me get clarity and perspective, add me if you want.

That is awesome, good luck to you!!! I think that might be the ultimate act of bravery.

I am a big fan of new sneakers too!!! Always one of my favorite purchases. Remember each day is the first day of the rest of your life, live it to the fullest and always do something that makes you feel good by the end of the day!

Congrats!! It is the first day of the rest of your life!!

I started at 272, down 14, loosing body fat and inches each week!! It is hard, but will be so worth it in the end.
-
Thank you both!!! I am very lucky, I have a great family and they have been very supportive. He is doing everything possible at this point to try and hurt me, because that is his way of still keeping me around and trying to get a rise out of me. I often wonder what he tells her as he was telling me he wanted to fix our…

I have 120 pounds to lose, I am with you. Recently I lost 280 lbs of cheating and lying husband and that in and of itself is like a huge weight. Now I need to step up my game and get back to a better, healthier me!

I added my weight for this week, but I have to say I would not encourage anyone to follow my diet. I found out my husband was making some vet bad choices, so the divorce diet will be what I will be experiencing. With a horrible soon to be ex husband experience.

So I completed my weigh-in this morning and I was up .9 lbs. But my body fat % was down and has been steadily going down each week. Even though the scale didn't reflect it, I am taking that as a win!! I have been more active and even got my extra walking in yesterday!! I am fully committed to today's goal of no processed…

I experienced a little frustration this morning, I got on my brand new scale for my weekly weigh-in and it decided it didn't want to work this morning. Hopefully I can get it resolved, and get my weight check done tomorrow morning.

I am in Oregon, currently the land of the rain!

@night_watcher, when I make hamburgers at home I use lean ground meat, sometimes turkey, sometimes beef and skip the bun in favor of my new obsession, butter lettuce. I like all the regular toppings, I just use them in moderation.

Happy Monday everyone. Breakfast this morning was one low fat toaster waffle, 2 sausage links and a banana. It was quick, filling and something I could grab on the way out the door.

I definitely agree, I try to track for breakfast and lunch first thing in the morning as I am preparing for the day. This allows me to know what to expect and on busy work days it is nice to be prepared. If I don't eat something I just delete it, if I have something extra I add it, more than anything it keeps me…

I would like to join as well, it is nice to have others to keep you on track.
