Agreed, this makes complete sense. What doesn't make sense is that I have been losing weight at a rate just under the MFP prediction. "The first day on Fitbit is always fun with weird data." Thanks, I thought it may be a first day bug too. The FAQ may well do the business too. I'm finding the discrepancy between the two a little concerning. I bridged the gap a little by setting my activity level to sedentary. I'll see how things go over the next few days.
