  • Hey team. I logged around 100 minutes for today, which has been my biggest day yet! I went on a long walk during the day, and then did an hour on a stationary bike. The stationary bike was so tortuous, it bores me to death  but I had to do it for the team and couldn't go outside since a little weather came in.…
  • If you're not opposed to whey protein - I like to mix a scoop into my yogurt along with some fruit. It's a quick and easy high protein snack or side to your lunch.
  • There are lots of great plant based advice out here already if you search it. One of my favorite resources for plant based recipes is a cookbook called "Oh She Glows Everyday"
  • I like Gold Standard Whey protein - in either vanilla or chocolate. Nothing too crazy about it, but it's really versatile and you can always blend it with different combinations. Another plus about powder is that you can sneak it into some things. I like to mix powder into my yogurt, oatmeal, or even pancakes.
  • @mari_moulin You definitely deserve a rest day, you've been kicking some serious butt all week. @darcijojo oooh big minutes might push us back to first! We are 20 points behind team 1, and another team in 3rd is just 20 points behind us! It's a tight race. I did a lot of walking today and completed the video exercises. I'm…
  • I completed the videos, finally! Man, the first video I was like "Okay, is this lady ever going to put her arms down?" and then by the second video I got the theme. I am so uncoordinated, so I'm sure if I was an actual participant in these videos I'd be in the way back, 5 seconds behind lol. I plan on doing more exercise…
  • WE'RE HEEEEEREEE! Just a little The Office humor! Anybody a fan?
  • Hey Soroya! I can only imagine what the tax season is like for you guys, yikes. You still got some minutes in though, great job! There's a few additional challenges that are easy to complete - there's a 10 point introduction (1. Name, 2. Favorite way to exercise, 3. Where your from, 4. A brief description of where you live…
  • @lynnbaum Good on you for keeping yourself honest! Knowing that you have a whole team counting on you is super motivating. I'm glad you had a good day  All the carrots and hummus to you girlfriend!
  • I did an initial 45 minutes on the elliptical.. I saw that we were at 4952 and for some reason that registered as "OMG WE'RE 8 MINUTES AWAY FROM CHINA" so I did a quick 8 minute walk. I'm a dumdum lol, however we are 40 minutes away from China now! Instead of doing cardio tomorrow I think I'm going to complete the videos…
  • Hey guys! Upped the ante today and did 45 minutes instead of my usual 30. I've also ate all my oranges, so that's another 5 points to add tomorrow. My goal is to be consistent and give at least 30 minutes of exercise every day (hopefully more). I will definitely do the video challenges, but it will probably be over the…
  • I don't feel hungry all the time per say, but definitely at night. If I stay up too late I get hunger pangs. Still trying to figure out the best way to deal with it. It's not terribly bothersome but it can prevent me from going to sleep right away.
  • Hey team! Just checking in for day 2 of the challenge. I am so impressed with those of you that are bringin' in them big minutes! Definitely makes me want to strive for more. My fitbit said that I walked 16,975 steps so far today :open_mouth: which is a lot for me and not the norm. I had an exam today and I like to walk…
  • WOOHOO!!! As of 8:16PM EST we are in 1st place guys! Team 1 is RIGHT behind us though. I just put in my 30 minutes of work out - I did around 35 flights of stairs and a mix of squats and stretches. My fitbit Charge 2 just came in the mail today and I'm pumped. I ate an orange today for lunch coincidentally, got a big ol'…
  • Challenge #1: Name: Danielle Favorite way to exercise: Umm... sleep through the day and skip my meals? lol I kiiiid. I love the elliptical, stair climber, or treadmill on incline. I'd much rather be out hiking though! Where I'm from: Warrenton, VA. Little bit about it: I live in a pretty rural/suburb area, but it's bout 40…
  • Hey team four! This is my first challenge and I'm really looking forward to it. Some fun facts about me: 1. My name is Danielle. I'm from Virginia. I actually live in an apartment above my family's pizza shop, so as you can imagine I don't always make the best eating choices! I'm currently pursuing a graduate degree in…
  • Pass this guy another glass! You look like you know how to have fun

  • What my boyfriend lovingly calls my "cheek poofs" - the cheeks on my face. Lol and the other cheeks aint so bad!
  • 1. I want to work towards losing 20 pounds by March 1st. 2. Begin strength training and incorporate exercise into my everyday activity. 3. If (or WHEN) I reach my ultimate goal weight, I'd like to get a new tattoo.
  • I'm currently pursuing a doctorates degree in pharmacy- so while school is in session I'm obviously more stressed out, however I tend to eat less and try to stick to healthier foods. In contrast, over this past summer I probably gained 5-10 pounds just by going out to eat with friends more and drinking frequently. I think…
  • There's plenty of negative experiences I've had that I think were worth suffering through - but one that comes to mind is when I was a kid I slapped my older brother across the face for no good reason, my mom then did the same to me and asked me how it felt. Don't dish it if you can't take it. Have you ever logged a "bad…
  • Saving this post for later
  • I'm currently at 1200 calories with an open diary, feel free to add me ladies! Yesterday was absolutely awful and I ate about 2,500 calories (donuts, fried food, beer, sushi... omg). I've been using MFP on/off for a few years actually but I recently started back up last week. That was actually the first "bad day" I…
  • This looks really easy and yummy! Thanks for the recommendation
