Open up your diary, people will be able to help you better that way.

then normally the next day*

If you want to not eat much today so you can eat more tomorrow, go for it. But really, eating normally today and going over calories tomorrow and then over calories the next day isn't going to kill you. It's not going to hurt your progress. It's one day of going a bit over. It's life happening.

If MFP is telling you to eat 1900 calories to lose a pound a week, you should be eating 1900 calories, especially since you exercise on a regular basis. Sometimes the less you eat, the slower you lose. I would recommend eating 1900.

I recently tried the Filled cupcake oreos as well, much much better than I thought they were going to be. I agree that they are better than the brownie batter ones.

I'd be concerned if my PT was suggesting eating infants before a work out. But, there is no evidence either way. As others have said, it's up to you. I personally like not eating before a work out and then getting to eat delicious food afterwards. Occasionally I'll end up eating before a work out and don't notice any…

I would love to have some more friends. I prefer people with open diaries.

I think it's one of those things that has no real right answer. I would personally love it if someone actually commented on my weight loss. I worked really hard and I want to know it shows and that people notice. When no one says anything, it really sucks. Recently a couple people asked me about it and asked me if I had…

Sometimes I feel like I am inhuman because I absolutely love store cakes buttercream, the buttercream in the tubs/containers... just all buttercream. Everyone hates it, and I could eat it out of the container. Also to be fair, you're not really supposed to eat the fondant.

I would definitely suggest talking to someone that can help you work through any food phobias you have. Bread will not make you fat. A 60 calorie pita will not make you fat. That is less calories than a slice of bread. Bread is not the enemy.

I count them, but I don't really weigh them. Things like cucumbers, bell peppers, broccoli, celery, carrots, and so on, I don't really care about weighing. I just guess. While the calories in those things do matter, I feel like they are small enough and I am active enough where it's not worth the stress. Fruits are a…

Sesame chicken is delicious too.

You can prelog stuff and if you don't end up eating something you can remove it from the log, or you can add other stuff in.

I always wanted to try those mug cakes but I don't have a microwave. I guess I am not missing out on much. I am shocked at the amount of people who don't like cauliflower, that's like one of my favorite vegetables. I tried greek yogurt and I hated it. I want to like it so bad because it's something people talk about so…

Wasn't there a guy who lost weight on the twinkie diet? Then there was that other guy who lost weight eating nothing but mcdonalds. It's possible to lose weight while eating "unhealthy" foods. No one cares. It's about calorie deficits. Also someone mentioned going to the doctor. Going to the doctor couldn't hurt.
-
I would say, as much as that might be a really helpful flow chart. Try eating more calories. Just eat maintenance for a bit, change your work outs, see how you feel after a few weeks and then create a smaller deficit. 1200 is very low and sometimes just can't give you what you need. It's not all about eating as little as…

Posting again, I just looked up the PureProtein bars and the Clif Builder bars to compare. Dang, I think I picked the one with the absolute most sugar content. No wonder they are so good.
-
I really really like Clif Builder's Bars. They are a little high on the calorie count but the mint one is amazing. It tastes like a mint chocolate chip cookie bar. I don't eat it that often, maybe a couple a week. The Luna Protein mint chocolate chip bars are good too.

Nothing! I have to say the fact that only two people at work have asked me if I've lost weight is really disappointing. I've lose 20 pounds. My clothes are falling off... it HAS to be noticeable. But nothing... no one says anything, ever. It has to make you feel a little good about yourself if people are saying you're…

I pan fried some tofu with a bunch of different colored bell peppers and onions. It was really amazing.

Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, chocolate.

I scan the barcodes on the fruits all the time when I am at the register. They do work.
-
really? So the little PLU sticker with the number like 4535 doesn't have a barcode on it?
-
Your calorie limit should be higher than 1000 calories?
-
I tried Arctic Zero. Their Cookie Shake one was only 150 calories for the whole pint. I enjoyed it well enough. It allowed me to get a large thing of "ice cream" without a ton of calories. It didn't taste like Ben and Jerry's bet it wasn't terrible.
-
yep. the 1200 is what you should be hitting, or sometimes more depending on how active you are being. The goal isn't to get below 1200.
-
You need to NET 1200 or more.

I absolutely hate greek yogurt with a passion. I also really hate avocados. Both are things that would be really amazing to eat and help keep me full through out the day. Neither one I will ever eat, unless my plan is to be nauseous all the time. Just find something you like, There are loads of different things. Try…

Can I just say she said she is FEELING cold, as in a lower body temperature, not that she has a cold? She FEELS cold. Her body is cold.

Dang, no ice cream either? yogurt? cheese?
