You need to start seriously weighing and logging your food. Count the calories you are eating. If you are TRULY eating at a surplus and losing weight rapidly, you need to get checked into the hospital immediately and demand to get tested. If you eat 500-1000 calories (accurately measured, weighed, and logged) over…

So a doctor said "you've put on weight" and everyone is saying get a new doctor. What???
-
You don't have to actually close out/complete your diary.
-
Goodness. Did you look up "what are the top 10 foods that make people fart" and decide to just eat those?
-
I struggle hard core with the eating thing. It's so hard to get that one down.

Is snatch really a name for an exercise? hahaha

Eat how you want to eat, just less? Start making small changes and learning how to cook more balanced meals. Don't cut "bad" things out and be really strict with yourself. Allow for "slip ups" and mistakes. Learn to let go a little. But also how to make better choices over all.

Do what works best for you. It is very possible to lose weight without exercise. It's just all about creating a calorie deficit. If adding a work out regiment right now will make you feel overwhelmed and give up, then put it off. But definitely eventually start lifting, you will thank yourself for it.

Tell him, talk to him, explain what you want...

MFP is only a rough estimate of what you're burning and what you need to maintain. Figuring out maintenance calories is a bit of a experiment to see what works. Slowly up your calories and after a few weeks note the change and go from there.

You can eat what you want and enjoy the holidays without going hungry and without messing up. If you do "go mad" two days out of the year, it's not really that big of a deal and you aren't going to undo all your progress. Advice would be, eat what you want and don't go hungry but portion control if you feel like you need…
-
Doesn't MFP give you a calorie goal? If you put in your height/weight and weight loss goals?
-
If you aren't the only one who does this, I'll be surprised. Sounds kind of crazy.
-
You're tall and have muscle, you need a lot of calories.

I take a protein bars or grapes or other things that I can snack on when I am feeling snacky and just want quick bites of this or that. So far it has helped.

I have had different ones from Robert Irvine, all of them are very good. The birthday cake one is delicious. But they are like 380 calories and 27c or something. Same with the complete cookie, it's about 380 I think for the whole cookie. So while they are very delicious I feel like they aren't good choices if you are…

If there is 30 calories in a gram of something then it's always going to be 30 calories for a gram of that thing. It's not going to sometimes be 20 or sometimes be 40. How much the package weighs might vary, but not the actual calorie count of the weight displayed on the package.

No

There's nothing wrong with eating protein bars and/or cookies. If you're only eating 1000 calories a day then you aren't doing good and the protein bars/cookies are helping you reach healthy calorie goals. Also, GNC is super expensive. It's like 1.50-2.00+ more than grocery store prices. Just think of how expensive it is…

From a scientific standpoint, starving yourself is eating below your BMR, so a person could be eating 1000 calories and still technically starving themselves. Just because they are eating doesn't mean they aren't starving their body. I would recommend just eating when you're hungry. Eating is good for you.

6:00- wake up/get ready for work 6:30- arrive to work 3:00-off work sometime between 3-7 I go to the gym 7:00- go to second job 1:00- get home from second job Then sleep. Some days I have off and I work out whenever. Some days I just take naps. Some days I only work one job and fit a work out in at some point. It's always…

The people saying that she should have been paying attention to the concert and not the cell phone in her face clearly haven't been a short person trying to see the stage while at a concert.

The purging and laxative abuse isn't going to help you lose fat or weight. It's just going to destroy your insides and digestive system. It doesn't help, it doesn't fix anything and it only causes a lot more problems. (These are things I have to tell myself every day). I would suggest forgetting about weight loss right…

Maybe do cardio in spurts? 10 minutes on the treadmill, lift a little, 10 more minutes, lift a little, another 10 minutes...

Eat dinner later. Eat dinner at 8. Or just completely forget about time frames because they are completely irrelevant.

This doesn't make any sense though. I mean, unless she asked for his opinion, he doesn't really need to give it. There's no reason to "keep it real" with someone who isn't asking. It really doesn't matter if the friend you haven't seen in awhile has gotten fat, or skinny, or lost all of their hair... you don't really need…

The best way to lose weight by December is to create a calorie deficit and stick to it.
-
Literally anything you want.

How does this make the app irrelevant? You just learn how to guess and make an estimate. You could also ask him "hey, this was really good! Can you tell me the recipe?" Then guess on portion amounts. It won't be exact, life won't always be exact.

I've heard of that coconut oil thing, if coconut products didn't make me want to vomit, I might give it a shot. But you know that the weight of cooked rice is going to be different from the dry? So you're going to get a bigger portion.
