How often do you do cheat days/meals?
For some reason(Feel free to judge), whenever I do a full on cheat day every 2-4 weeks, I get right back on track the very next day down to my caloric deficit and I actually see BETTER weight loss and fat loss results a week after the cheat.
Am I the only one that does this? And how do you do your cheating for better results?

I eat maintenance once a week and make up a deficit the other 6 days. Sometimes I go over a little on that day I see an immediate drop in weight.0

Maybe because I don't do diet gimmicks (clean/Paleo/low carb/low fat), there is no cheating. Even if I go over my calories for the day, it's set low anyways and it's less than what I'd be having otherwise.
Plus you can indulge without going all out wild - have pizza, AND a large salad. You are not going to be able to eat a ton of pizza even if you wanted to.
Want chocolate? Have a half of a Skor bar. All the taste, just 100 calories.
Breakfast out? Have the eggs benedict if you want to, hollandaise and ham too, just eat one of them, not both. Talk a lot and drink water and coffee. You'd be stuffed, because you lengthened the time to eat and filled yourself with lots of liquids.
If I know I want some ridiculously high calorie dish, I just do low cal the rest of the day. Or have a low cal day the day before.
This is probably horrible to the clean eating camp, but eating food is an enjoyable experience. Sometimes food is just fuel - you're hungry and you need to get your work done. Eat as healthy as you can those times and eat deliciously the rest of the time, paying attention to calorie counts.0 -
I don't, I fit whatever I want to eat into my weekly calorie/macro goal1

Following days when I eat too much, I get back on the program and for the next few days the temporary excess of water and sodium drains away making it appear that I'm losing weight quickly.0

I allow myself once a week to cheat on a meal. Which for me means just going over on calories since I'm not following any particular diet.
This helps me from feeling deprived all the time, and I stay on track better throughout the week.1 -

If you aren't the only one who does this, I'll be surprised. Sounds kind of crazy.0

I allow myself to eat things I enjoy on a regular basis so no need to cheat1
