  • Hi everyone! It's been a few days since I posted. I've been on target since, except for yesterday. I went over my protein, and under on fat. But that's ok. What 9/10? I've also been walking further and further each day. I just realized on Friday, I hit my highest step count ever in my fitbit history. Now that I return back…
  • Checking in for the past week: All of track. I've been on a roll with my walking on the weekends. My calories has been way under (unintentional), and everything is on goal. Seeing some amazing changes in my habits, and energy levels. I caught a second wind on Sunday and completed an 8 mile walk. On weekdays I complete 1-2…
  • https://www.fitbit.com/user/4F4Z6C Long time fitbit user, looking for active friends for challenges. Feel free to add me there and her.
  • The last three days have been jam-packed. I've met my macros and my calorie goal. Yesterday marked my first 30 days of Keto and over 16lbs loss. Today my food scale died out. I ordered another to replace it as I rely heavily on it as I prep and track every single thing.
  • 20lb difference in 30 days! I can finally see the change! Looking forward to the next 30/60/90 days!
  • 11/13 my fitbit died. Thankfully I logged in a mile walk on lunch. Under calories and on point with macros. Good day overall. It's raining tonight, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
  • 11/12 Went over Calories, but burned a bit with my speed walk on lunch. Met my other macro goals and step goals. Also, finally got my new walking and new running shoes. Looking forward to my weekend 5 mile walk, and going to start a 1 mile run soon.
  • 11/11 Calories: under 1600 limit Net carbs: a touch over 20g limit Protein: under protein limit Fat: close, but unintentionally under fat goal Had the day off, and took my toddler on a 5 mile stroll this morning. Hit my step goal of 10k before noon. Lost 4.2 since last Wednesday weekly Check-in.
  • 11/10, 2.2lb loss this week! I'm really keeping an eye on my nutrients, as I think this past weekend I was edging into Keto Flu. I took advice regarding my dislike of avocados and nixed them for now. I did get avocado oil and coconut to add to my fat supplies. This week really got me thinking about what my intake is, and…
  • It's mainly from meats, mct oil, heavy cream, and cheese. I did just start keto, so I am not making all my things exactly from scratch. I do have breakfast sausage, not raw cheese, and put 30ml of mct oil in my one cup of coffee.
  • I haven't been keeping my daily walks up this week, but I have been getting much-needed rests. I'm now going to deep clean my house to count as my exercise today. So far, still, point with my goals. I'm starting to change up my fat intake as I'm noticing I'm going over my saturated fat goal.
  • I don't like the flavor, texture, and overall mouthfeel. ut because it is a good thing to have on keto for healthy fat, I am trying to learn to adjust to reap the benefits. I never liked avocado or even guacamole. People always thought it was my childhood pickiness, but as an adult, I've proved it time and time again. I've…
  • I hope I am not too late to join in. I just started in late October to change my lifestyle with Keto, and getting more active. My November goal mirrors my regular goal but would like to find others who can help keep me accountable and motivated. My November Plans. Food:* Research foods that fit my keto goals, to share with…
  • @suesuedio Yes! I noticed that my eyes appear larger. Before the loss I was feelong down about how puffy my face was. My bone structure was dissapearing and my face was becoming a single shape. I was worried about running causing issues on my knees as I have had a small knee injury in the past and also me knees ache just…
  • @nowine4me I second that. He seen me while heavy and says it doesnt matter what size I am. It's everything as a package. He makes me feel loved and he also knows I'm strong. This past weekend I had a crying spell in traffic from shopping for business clothes. He said he understands it's hard and that he see's the…
  • @triplestep Iwas speed walking in the begining but found myself struggling. Somehow when I decided to start jogging I didn't struggle as much. It's weird. What I for sure need to do is go on actual hikes. I'm in Northern California, and there are plenty of good trails to hike here. I still speed walk when I'm winding down…
  • @Schwenkler22 I do have measurements from January. I could remeasure and see what the actual difference is. What suprised me the most from Oct to January was the measurement of my neck. It went down 30% according the the measurements taken. I couldnt believe it.
  • Thanks VeloRat1969! I was inspired to start running by another mfp user. She dropped like 100lbs and just ran a 5k marathon today in the rain in under 39 minutes. The change has been sudden. I've only started the jogging and running phase a little over a week ago. My knees ache and so do other areas of my body. But it's a…
  • I can see that point wbandel. I do admit that i do feel like I'm carrying my weight differently these days. If the outer physical appearance is subtle, the auto responses aren't. I'm able to jog 5 minutes straight without feeling like my heart is going to explode or a burning feeling in my lungs. To me that is the biggest…
  • Thank you both. It's hard to tell when your looking at yourself. I see it more in my face than anything. But I can feel some of thw differences in how my skin and the fat is feeling on my body.
  • Thank you. I agree, it seems I can do anything if I keep backing it up with positive thoughts and reinforcement. Not to mention it is only the begining. :p
  • Try subbing some of the food for other alternatives. Don't completely cut out things or you will most likely cave. I feel I'm the same with pastas and sweets. It can get out of hand. Personally, I still have the stuff I want, but I can only have what one serving is allowed. Then I will work it off at the gym, though that…
