Thank you for your reply, Ginny! Great advice. My husband swears that if I'd just commit to a walk every evening and just cut down the amount of food I eat that is see a huge difference. Small changes for now and big leaps down the road. I've got to work on that water intake!

. How much dry oatmeal are the egg whites and almond milk mixed with? This sounds like a good option for me.

2 gallons sounds outrageous. I second that comment that said have your body weight in ounces. I also weight 250 and aim to drink 125oz a day. That does the trick while I'm in weight loss mode. Once I'm maintaining I will be happy with about 64oz a day.

A boost is what I'll give - just ONE walk! Bring some music that you love or an audiobook and just get out there and commit to 20 minutes of walking leisurely. It's a great start! I just started today, too. I have about 70lbs to lose. I'm also 31 but with only two young boys. :)

I also have two young boys! I used to be a biz owner, too (web design). I just started today and struggle with staying motivated. I'm a very impatient person and when I don't see results immediately I quit. Just have to keep reminding myself that this isn't a sprint, but a marathon change!

My goal is to lose 70lbs and I just started, well- tomorrow! I'm not prepared or anything. No diet plan no big exercise plan. Just starting with better choices tomorrow. Please feel free to add me, too!
