I like the looks of the new Fitbit Alta coming out in March. Has the sane features as charge hr but looks more like a bracelet and does text notification in addition to the call notification.

The food scale does not lie!!! I was shocked by how much more cereal I was eating when I was just using measuring cups. Plus it is so easy to overfill too.

I agree that a heart rate monitor could make a big difference in your exercise tracking. I used to use a polar chest strap and I found i really had to push myself harder to get the calorie burn results that you see as estimates online.

I have a treadmill and a stairclimber/elliptical machine, a few dumbbells, kettlebell and exercise ball.
