This post above -- is very true. I'm still 20 lbs from goal after losing 79 lbs but my happiness and confidence started much earlier in the process when I realized I could get a handle on weight loss, and then as eating healthier became a part of my life, the food bumps in the road were more manageable.

I have lost 79 pounds. It has taken me a year almost to the day. I lost the first 65 on weight watchers and then switched to MFP. I'd like to lose another 20 and I'm giving myself a whole other year for that as this weight loss is much slower.

I lost about 60 lbs on Weight Watchers last year and changed to MFP after WW changed its plan. As I had done WW already for awhile, you're used to tracking and weighing what you eat so MFP was not a difficult change for me, it is free, and I agree with others who have said that the MFP database is larger than WW's database…

I'm 5'7". I started at 262 pounds. Currently I weigh 184. My goal weight is 160. I eat 1450 per day for slow weight loss. Giving myself a year to get to 160. I wear either a 14 or 16 size jeans depending on the brand. I even lost weight in my feet. Went from a size 11 shoe to a size 10 shoe.
