  • Keto diets are extremely helpful for people affected by epilepsy, you should read up on some of the research on that front! Incredibly interesting research has been done observing this connection. As for the rest of us non-epileptics, do what works best for you. But be warned- highly restrictive diets have their downsides.…
  • Maybe you can look into taking a class regularly at your local YMCA, gym or community center. Working out in a group setting can be a lot of fun and switching up the kind of exercise you do might help motivate you. Maybe swimming (or a water aerobics class), a dance class with your partner, or Pilates might be more…
  • This is an insane discussion. It's bad for your teeth! Ask your dentist! Taking care of your teeth is incredibly important and an often overlooked health issue. Same goes for hot sauce, balsamic vinegar, lemon/lime & and dry spices!…
  • Maybe ask your doctor about pedialyte? I would also ask your doctor to clarify how much salt you should add to your diet. More water should also help! Hope you feel better soon, feeling cold and weak does not sound fun xx
  • Also, I can't seem to hit my fiber goals and I always go over on my sugar by eating fruit so I'm not sure how to balance that part of my diet either. The struggle is real y'all. I know there's no "perfect diet" (I think) but I want to get closer to the recommendations.
