My goal on a non active day is 1300-1400. Most days I eat around 1500 because I have exercise calories. I have gone all the way up to a few random 1800-1900 calorie days due to a big date night or Christmas, etc. But I've always had a loss showing in the "if every day were like today" box. I was a Girl Scout, and so was my sister. When she started, I would buy 10 boxes and make them last around 6 months. I found having more made them less novel and exciting to me. But if you really want to avoid it, don't buy any more. (Also, peanut butter patties have the least cookies in the box. So I hope they're good…

It seemed the idea to take magnesium daily. But if you don't want to take it every day I'd start 5-7 days before your period and take it through the first 2-3 days of a period. (I also don't like taking pills every single day if I don't need to. But nutrients need to have a steady supply to keep up stores. I would imagine…

I don't get terrible food related cravings, but my nurse practitioner said to take magnesium to lessen period symptoms (like cramps, digestive troubles, and cravings if you have them). I second the above suggestion to use something besides food. A hot bath is more helpful physically.

Just here for encouragement. I started out with a goal of around 45 pounds to lose. My starting weight was 185 at 5 foot 6 inches tall. I've now lost nearly 25 pounds, and I'm 160.3. I have around 25 left to go. Just keep logging!!!

Just go off of it, and stay off. I gained around 15 pounds during a year of birth control pills. And I kept gaining after going off of them. Depo is worse for some people, so the majority of weight gain you had is probably from that. I had to increase my activity and eat around 1400-1500 calories a day to start losing…

I weigh about once every two weeks. Sometimes it's once a week. Once I get to maintenance I may weigh twice a week or closer to daily. For now, I know I'm doing what I need to do to move the scale downward.
