As I clearly stated in the post you quoted I DON'T CARE WHICH IS MORE ADDICTIVE

Do you have an opinion on Happy farm egg company? Just starting buying their eggs and curious if it's really worth the extra money. Are well looking for a more "orange" looking yolk or a higher yellow What the wolf man said above..the amount of cholesterol in eggs really isn't a drop in the bucket compared to what our…

Here's a powerhouse for plant protein and fiber....but it doesn't do me any good cause I can't hold em down...lol

Sorry...I saw your post but didn't reply because I wasn't claiming any health benefits. Since July I have be "trying" to eliminate foods with ADDED sugar from my diet. The reason I decided to do that is because my blood pressure was 140/100 and I felt I needed to make a change. In the process of "trying" to eliminate ADDED…

And lead us not into over calorie consumption... ETA But deliver us from obesity

From your food diary click on calories remaining. You'll go to the page Heather has a picture of. If you tap the bar graph then all your calories will show up. It will do the same if you're on the macros page ETA. It will also show your average of the 7 days

If I ever have to go to court I'll remember to bake a cake

I track my calories daily but I am only interested in my weekly average. I know I go out to eat for lunch and dinner every Friday so I save calories the other days of the week. So it's not really a "cheat" day because I've planned and logged it and I still hit my weekly numbers.

Do you have a food and activity log? If so let's think about what your goal is..it's to maintain your weight. I would suggest you pick a good weight range to try to stay in,+ or - 5 pounds of your current weight. I understand there are more "variables" for women per month then for men so pick a day each month that accounts…

Not trying to be harsh here but in one post you called yourself sedentary and three minutes later you said you weren't sedentary....figuring that out maybe a good place to start

No I haven't looked at the studies because I really don't care which is more addictive. That was the first article that came up when I googled All I said was being able to quit one or the other isn't proof of which is more addictive and I stand by that.... because it isn't proof of anything. Then out of the blue you quoted…
-
I never said you did say that....I asked hence the question mark And to really know how addictive is you would have to use it and try to quit
-
Are you saying I compared them? I don't recall doing that either Being able to quit one or the other isn't proof of which is more addictive which is what I said I personally have never done cocaine so I wouldn't know Eta: a quick google I came up with this saying sugar can be more addictive then cocaine…
-
And btw...people quit cocaine cold turkey also...so being able to quit one or the other isn't proof of anything

I can't understand how you missed it. She quoted me when I said "I'm trying to eliminate foods with added sugar because they are just empty calories" Then she went on to say "this is another thing that's just not true"...ect First part of the sentence is I'm trying to eliminate foods with added sugar...which is what I'm…

Runaroundafield has a good idea with intermittent fasting. For me personally I find that planning my meals the day before and averaging out my calories weekly helps keep me in line. The trick is to figure out what works best for you and sticking with it.

Congratulations on your weight loss...well done. I think true motivation comes from within us all. If you have them try looking at your before and after pictures. Did you keep any of your old larger clothes...if so put on your favorite old outfit to see how far you've come. Eating below maintenance for over a year can be…

Yes....from your food diary tap calories remaining and you will go to a different screen with all kinds of tabs Op as you can see from the pic I saved some calories for Friday...it's all about the weekly averages for me

No where did I ever say fructose is bad...I even typed that in caps You do not know me...do not tell me what I am or am not TRYING to do
-
@hale03071 Ohhhhh you said the f word (fructose)...you're going to get it ....j/k I posted a link to how the body metabolized fructose differently and got it good. Then I backed it up with a few links, all of them saying fruits and vegetables are good, and they went off. I'm also trying to eliminate foods with added sugars…

Cutting sugar is tough...that's one addictive white powder How long has it been...noticed any good changes?
-
I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to reset...are you talking about your macro percentages?
-
There was a post about this not long ago...I didn't know it but your supposed to weigh it raw because that's what the calorie information is based on. If you've already cooked it you need to multiply the cooked weight by 1.5 to get the correct weight. I actually experimented by weighing some chicken raw then cooking it and…

IMO here's the only way juicing might benefit you Step 1 juice Step 2 pour the juice down the sink Step 3 eat what was left of the fruits and vegetables you juiced

I know what kerrygold is, I buy it and clarify it myself.

Thank you for posting this question I've been waiting for a thread about whether or not people think raw olive oil is healthy or not. I've heard bad things. I personally cook with clarified butter (kerrygold). Not only do I think it's safer but taste much better.

It can be tough...it's almost as if the food companies have chemist creating these sugary/salty foods to get us hooked There are a lot of good ideas on here Don't go to the grocery hungry, don't buy it, make a list and plan on a treat later that you can look forward to. At the end of the day it's going to take will power to…

@sijomial I just quickly googled ideal body weight by frame size and that chart popped up. There are so many methodologies, who really knows which one is best, but bringing bmi to the ops attention is good thinking on your part
