She said that you can get health benefits reguardless of the diet by eating less and loseing weight. I understand what she was saying but it's a false statement. If my diet only consisted of candy corn and soda even if I'm eating less I will most definitely would not reap any health benefits. I know she meant any balanced…

Wow...nice job and it looks tasty.

The disclaimer is a good idea Disclaimer: I am not a doctor. Anything I state is based on my experience and is only my opinion. This not the debate forum so I do not wish to debate my opinion I haven't heard the one about sweat smelling like cat pee....sounds pretty rough Thank you for getting this thread back on topic.…

Paragraph that starts with additionally.. I don't have to twist it you clearly state it has nothing to do with how they are eating it has to do with eating less. I've already read the benefits of lowering calories but I've never seen or read anything stateing how someone is eating doesn't matter... other than your…

I do apologize to you I did misidentify you.

You stated unequivocally we can reap health benefits from not overeating regardless of diet If you have statistical data or studies to show your statements to be true, please do share. If not feel free to identify it as just an opinion. To generalize from the specifics of your N=1 experience is faulty logic Rants don't get…

Would you mind sharing the links to the info about the benefits not having anything to do about what you're eating but how much. Ive read the ones about limiting calories but I've never seen any that state the type of foods you're eating do not matter. Thank you

If you're HAVING to eat pizza every night I just want to say I'm so jealous... you're living my dream!!!
-
You inferred that the statement wasn't true so I'm guessing that's your opinion... just because it's your opinion, her opinion, or even my opinion doesn't make it a fact I feel we are pulling this thread off topic. So if you would like to provide a link showing the scientific meaning of the word associate and if she comes…

Can you prove it isn't healthier? My guess is that's her opinion but I don't know that for a fact. So there's nothing....again

If they spout bull then so be it...he was claiming she said something she clearly didn't say

I think you're missing the point of what I was trying to say. The main message I was attempting to convey was the keto people are unfairly treated. She had one word being inflammation that you disagreed with so you pulled your monitor ruler out of of the desk and rapped her across the knuckles for it. You received thumbs…
-
That was me that just gave you an awesome.... cause that sounds awesome.
-
She said gluten is associated with inflammation and allergies ( which is true just like nuts and diary )...not it causes inflammation and allergies... and she got wooed and you got thumbs up...just like they said it would happen. I'm not a keto person but they are right...if they try to have a thread in here they get…

Like you said...when it works people want to scream it from the roof top but I truly believe reguardless of what type of diet you go on it still boils down to cico for weight loss. Loseing weight will help with all types of issues people have and it's not always how you lost it. For me I cut added sugars...since mfp…

A cup of egglands best egg whites has 133 calories/27g of protein/400mg of potassium. Seems like this might fit the bill. You need to verify this yourself with the usda database ETA You're body can only get so much energy a day from your fat stores. So unless your doctor tells you otherwise you shouldn't go below 1200…

Well... Im not nursing though I've tried very hard but I wasn't unable to. Thx for pointing that out either way. [/quote] Ok just wanted to make absolutely sure you're aware Hope your knee gets to feeling better soon

Op means original poster It's the simplest way imo ( in my opinion) Figuring out calories burned for lifting is a lot of trial and error...and some days you burn more calories than others But if you're nursing you're still eating for you and your baby. Look at the pic I'm going to try to attach. ETA: the most important…
-
It depends...are you nursing? ETA If so then you should definitely raise your calories back to maintenance... because nursing takes energy If not I would eat at maintenance for a couple of weeks...and be ready to gain some water weight...like 4 or 5 pounds in a few days. It's just water, you can't gain fat that quickly.…

She said she's eating 1270,lifting weights and gaining strength. She also said when she eats 1500 calories she gains weight. A 100 pound women wouldn't gain fat at 1500 calories only water....let alone one that's lifting weights Seems pretty obvious to me

I'll second the no damage to your metabolism from 8 years ago, measuring yourself and double check your food entries ... and definitely patience If you enjoy your workout program and are making proogress there is no reason to change it...you should quickly get back to where you were before How much do you weigh...how much…

How many calories are you allowing yourself...are you exercising ...if it's too low...like a 1000 with exercise...then you're jacking yourself up and it's good you're eating more. More information is needed
-
@jemhh thank you...the entry I have been using is way off
-
Egg whites and split peas are really good for potassium amoungst other things... but don't mix them together because that would be gross
-
Yes...you're literally running yourself into the ground.
-
Did you ask what the unnatural unhealthy chemical is? I probably drink nearly 3 liters of water a day and have a crystal light with my dinner..fruit punch is pretty good.
-
Are you a girl or guy. 1200 is the minimum calories for women( 1500 for men ) and you need to eat your exercise calories back. People here seem to recommend 60-75% because they say mfp is generous with the exercise calories. Verify the food entries you choose because some are wrong. You also need to weigh your food because…

Normally I would say...really I've lost weight and didn't have to do that...or that's a new one on me...unless it's someone I know really well...then I'll tell them I think it's total *kitten*.

15 % of 1690 is 253 calories 66 grams of sugar is roughly 264 calories ETA Sugar is just under 4 calories a gram

Your bmr is 1392...the reason you get 1730 for sedentary is for moving/walking around so if you're eating back all of your walking calories I think you might be double dipping. I have my iPhone linked to mfp and I only get about 60-65 calories for 5000 steps and I'm heavier then you. Not sure which correct but 300 calories…
