Looks like you're getting some great advice. Once you get your calories set and you're food scale you'll be on your way. Something I like to do is save a few calories everyday for a treat to look forward to.. just saving a 50-100 calories a day gets me a 300-600 calorie bank to use for eating out or a favorite food. You…

There are a lot of helpful people here.. like the ones trying to prevent you from undereating then you have the people that just want to make sarcastic remarks thinking they're funny..try to ignore them if you can

It's important to get enough protein because as you lose weight eating enough protein helps you retain your muscle. At your current weight I would suggest you use the percentages,25 or 30. Going with .8-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight would be 193-242 grams of protein. That's 772-968 calories of the 1330…

I would just like to add to what the others have already posted. Pack a lunch... I get everything ready the night before so I can just throw them in the lunchbox on my way out of the door. You could also pack a snack you can grab while you're on the go at work..to hold you over until lunch. It's so worth the effort to…

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis I'm definitely not an expert on fatty liver disease but I would follow what your doctor is telling you to do and ask for a referral to a dietitian who can guide you Is there anything advice that you or other people who have nonalcoholic fatty liver disease would care to share? Do you…

I don't know why this made me laugh... so simple yet so right on the money

Since your DOCTOR who has access to your...you know...medical info perhaps you should do as he/she tells you. I would definitely find out why he/she wants you to eat so few carbs or seek out a second opinion Only having 20 carbs a day doesn't cause anyone to gain weight...you're gaining weight because you're eating more…

You put your hdl as 140...did you mean 40? Are your triglycerides high?

At a buck twenty seven you might be flabby but there's no way you could have much fat to lose Do a some cardio for your heart because it's a muscle You need to wrap your mind around the reason lifting weights is called working out....because it's work. There are all kinds of popular workouts just pick one that emphasizes…

Definitely more calories...I would suggest setting your calories at sedentary and maintain weight if you're going to be doing an hour of cardio. The calories you're burning from the cardio and weight lifting will put you in the calorie deficit needed to lose weight. If you like eating fewer calories some days so you can…

I look at all info weekly. Macros and all...I save some calories everyday so I can eat out a couple of times a week. I really don't know anything about binging...is there a reason you're doing that. And if someone vcould tell me how to get the screenshot instead of what I've got that would be awesome

Sounds like you're doing really well to me. That averages out to nearly 9 pounds a month. Since you are lifting weights you might consider measuring yourself because you might be gaining muscle. Like others have said double check your logging and weighing and make sure you eat your exercise calories back.

I agree...I think he originally was trying to say enjoy a variety of foods and don't fear the more calorie dense foods on occasions. Unfortunately he mixed in some bad information in there and when you do that in these forums you will have to explain yourself It's wild how people can read the same statements and get…

You're only getting 7650 calories a week...the minimum for women is 1200 a day times 7 days a week...that works out to 8400 a week. Plus you're supposed to eat back your exercise calories.
-
You're right...at least mine does and it even gives me a few more calories for my steps
-
I copied what kayeroze had to say hoping you would read it again I think if you can get some help to find out why you've eaten to the point that you weigh 489 pounds and resolve that issue then you will be running that spartan race before you know it
-
I don't...but since they help keep you awake and we might be driving on the same roads....keep on snacking

People have been fasting for various reasons for who knows how long so cutting your calories to 800 a week shouldn't do any long term damage to a healthy person. But know this...cutting that many calories isn't going to put your body into some kind of super fat burning mode. You're going to lose the same amount of fat you…

Didn't think of that...the plan was to feed the judge the cake for a better sentence or to hit him in the face with it if things didn't go my way
-
You're last study states "sugary foods contribute minimally to 'food dependence' and increased risk of weight gain" But it's a moot point...because I never said sugar was addictive in the first place
-
I think ent3rsandman just nailed it If you're worried about seeing a difference you might consider measuring yourself...because the scale will break your heart at times It's only been 7 days and you've lost 10 pounds....that's great...keep up the good work
-
Use your diet to lose the fat. Lift weights to retain or hopefully add a little muscle. Think of cardio as a workout for your heart and lungs and leave room to up it when you really want to get lean. Since youre at the minimum suggested calorie intake just make sure you're eating those exercise calories back and before you…

@psuLemon Ok. Hey @Carlos_421- show me your scientific evidence proving sugar isn't addictive or are you claiming the lack of scientific evidence saying it is addictive is proof.
