The first nice day after a few days of rain....

I love when they choose us  Soot is a very handsome kitty.
-
I need this in my life. So bad.
-
Thanks! I have to agree, but I'm a little biased

He's handsome! That's how I feel about mine too

Zu, my sweet sunbathing girl Sometimes, she's not too amused with me... And sometimes, she's weird - but she definitely saved me from a dark time and I love the *kitten* out of her.

I came here to say the same about the caffeine. I know I get a headache and get pretty cranky if I don't have my morning coffee... I can't imagine if I had as much caffeine as you did throughout the day and just quit all of a sudden. I'm pretty sure my SO would leave me haha Good luck

That cartoon is the story of how I've felt my whole life. It's kind of eye opening to see it like that though.

That's awesome!! I may borrow this idea ;)

My goober Zuzu

Thank you for this! I love it! I've been after myself for a while now to start the C25K program but it always just seems like too much, even though it's a beginner program. So last night I made the decision to start with a smaller goal... just walk. So I plan to take long walks with my dog at least 5 days a week and just…

It's a known issue. I've contacted support and they say they are working on it. It's frustrating though because now I'm having to flip back and forth between two apps to figure out how many calories I should be eating based on my calorie burn.

Same here!

Part of the problem I'm having is MFP says my Fitbit is connected but it doesn't show up under steps so I can select it.
-
I put in a ticket a couple weeks ago. MFP got back to me saying it's a known issue and they are working on it. I tried all their tricks for getting it to sync properly as well but it's not working. Fitbit is getting info from MFP, but not vise versa, so I'm entering all my food into MFP and seeing what I can on Fitbit…

I contacted support a week or so ago. They said it's a known issue and are working on it. It's driving me nuts that my calories aren't adjusting for exercise, etc.
-
I've never personally heard it go off, but I've seen others say they have heard it.

To OP, regardless of the controversy around their mottos, PF fits my financial, fitness, and time needs. I have somewhere else I go for Zumba and other than that, no other local gym offers classes at a time I could take them so I'm not going to pay more at another gym for the option of taking classes I can't take. I also…

I'm starting late but I'm in! I'm taking a few classes in addition to working full time so this is perfect to supplement zumba in the little time I have. :) Thanks for posting!

Flavored seltzers are my go to. I bring a liter bottle of seltzer to work every day and usually finish that by noon, then refill that with water and the liquid flavor a couple of times throughout the rest of the day.

I think this app has been great! As with everything, some people aren't using common sense with the game and putting themselves in more dangerous situations but over all I think it's a good thing. My boyfriend has been walking more which makes me happy because he is doing something healthy and for me it's been a great way…

Honestly, it doesn't use as much data as you would think. My boyfriend has been playing since this past weekend (about 5 ish days now) pretty consistently and hasn't even hit 1GB. If you think you'd enjoy it, I'd say give it a try and just track your data for the first couple days and see how it works out. It seems like…

This is a fun idea and would be interesting to look back at. Thanks for the idea!

He's a dude...

Way to go!! I would brag too! I'm signed up for a 5k at the end of June and can't wait to experience that feeling of accomplishment!

Check to make sure the auto sync setting didn't turn on somehow. When mine was syncing I constantly throughout the day, I didn't hold a charge for even a full day. But once I turned that setting off and had it only sync when I told it to, it started holding the charge for days.
-
I tend to eat back some of the calories. As a couple others have said, any calories that FitBit adds (or takes away if you have that setting enabled) is what you've burned over (or under) what MFP has predicted. So it makes sense to eat back some of the calories while giving myself some leeway for error.

I just finished W1D3 of C25K and I find I'm a little more confident each time. I'm not focused on speeding up, I'm just focused on finishing, but I make it a little further each time and that's exciting to me and keeps me motivated. Edit to add, awesome job on starting! Keep it up. Feel free to add me if you want so we can…

I'm on Week 1, Day 3 today! It's actually not nearly as bad as I expected it to be... and I'm doing better than I expected. I'm at about a 15:30 mile. I signed up for a 5k at the end of June to keep my motivation up. And I'm really happy to have found this thread to see that others are doing it as well! Anyone who wants…
