I scan barcodes as much as I can. I like the weight watchers natural boneless chicken breasts 140 cal each. For things like steak or ground beef I use a scale.

Try only weighing yourself once a week, in the morning right after you get up. That's what I do now, I use to be obsessed with the scale! My calories are set at 1250. Good luck :)

I don't really have a set day. It's always in the morning after I get up and before I eat. But I can go days without checking or times I check every morning three days straight.

Every couple of days I'll have one soda or two lindt truffles. Usually I'm below my calorie goal so I don't feel guilty about and it hasn't had an impact on weight. I use to live off of soda and chocolate and knowing that I can still have it once in a while is great.

I don't exercise. I've cut my intake in half from what it was, my max is 1250calories a day. I've only been doing this for 4weeks but I've lost 7 pounds just by eating better and logging. I use PB2. Its a powder peanut butter you just add water. I use it in my smoothies, on bagels, and sprinkle in oatmeal. It taste like pb without all the calories and fat. At the store we use it is in the organic isle. It's a must try!!
