To the original poster This sums it up perfectly. If you really look at it look at all the diet plans out there all they really are is cico but they don't sell it that way they're selling the whole package and a lifestyle. What are they basically doing they're selling you pre-packaged Foods or they're assigning points to…

Let me give you my background. I've had a double hip replacement about two years ago. Even though I was walking with a cane after a month and there was another month before I didn't need the cane it took me fully about a year to recover. I'm a big Tony Horton fan and in P90X he has a Plyometrics program which is jump…

I agree with the other posters. Best way to lose any kind of fat is calorie deficit. It's a simple matter of eating less calories than your body Burns and you will lose the fat eventually. Now comes the bad news your genetics are going to determine how when and where the fat comes off. I lost 80 pounds in 8 months and for…

You don't need cardio to lose weight. As previous posters have stated it's eating less calories than your body consumes. It's that simple. As far as exercises you could swim you could walk, jog whatever you enjoy doing. Exercise has a lot of great benefits among them physical, mental and emotional.

Beautifully stated this is a long-term Journey not some short little quick thing. Never look at exercise as punishment. For this to work it has to be sustainable and one binge day is not going to ruin your long-term

I've done 10 minute trainer the old P90 P90X and the new version of P90. I just finished two sessions of P90X and I'm doing a modified version of P90 over the summer for time reasons and the fact that I don't really want to be in the gym doing this summer. The P90 is a much easier version of P90X the workouts run maybe 25…

Not cheating. I use the machine myself. Have some joint issues in my shoulders. Been doing for about 2 months and I definitely getting stronger and using less counterweight. I also notice better muscle definition in the arms and shoulders.

I eat whatever I want it to. You can't look at this is a diet. diets suck you're constantly miserable and that's why you fail. I lost 80 pounds over an eight month. and I've been maintaining for about eight months. During both phases I've still had Wendy's hamburger, pizza and beers on the beach if I had to give those…

Congratulations on your success. It's a complicated answer with a lot of answers depending on what you're looking for. On the scale I saw it after my first month after I lost about 10 pounds. Verbally I saw it after about three months when people started to ask me how much weight I lost and how I look good. They also told…

To madwife2009 You'll eventually see it. I'll give it to you from my perspective. when I started my journey my weight was 288 pounds my current weight right now is 208 and I've been maintaining 8 months. Congrats on your success you look good. Don't focus on BMI so much as far as how you feel and you look. BMI is a subjective number. According to the BMI index every guy in the NBA is considered overweight or obese. I'll give you my perspective I'm six foot four and I'm 57 years old. For me to have a normal BMI range I have…

You need to talk to a doctor about that. For a young kid to go on a diet I wouldn't recommend it because the kid is growing and he's physically developing. Also healthy is very subjective term. You have to clarify what you mean by healthy. What I mean by that is you could have the perfect BMI index but have high blood…

I try but it's really hard to guesstimate because you don't know how they're cooking food when you don't prepare it yourself. I just make a guesstimate of what I think I ate what part of the process is you have to enjoy the journey so if you have a day where you blow your calorie limit it's not going to hurt you as long as…

As far as Beachbody I am aTony Horton fan. There is a method to his Madness and the more I do the different workouts I understand what he's trying to do. That said I agree with the other posters some kind of exercise is better than nothing at all. What you have to remember is health and fitness is just like politics and…

Nothing wrong with going to the playground. The most important thing with exercises that you enjoy it and if you enjoy going to the playground they're bringing out the little kid in yourself why not you'll get better results. Also if you look at a place like Muscle Beach in Venice California some of the equipment they use…

I'm an avid fan of Tony Horton. I've done 10 minute trainer the original P90 the new version of P90 and I've done P90X a couple times. The one thing I've noticed is when I do the workouts at home they help and I see Improvement but when I started doing them at the gym with access to free weights my results really got…

You have to re-evaluate how you're looking at this. You can't look at this as a diet period diets suck your miserable they don't work and that's why people fail at diets. You have to look at this as a lifestyle change it's a learning process and you have to educate yourself on how your body works and react and what you can…
