Also looking to lose 80lbs Please add me as I'd like some motivational buddies

Yes not worth doing it more regular... As it can fluctuate just as much as the scale especially if you're a lady who holds water
-
At the start you can maybe run on it but when you start getting to 140kg plus on squat three times a week you legs need recovery time... Why not consider Wendler 531 program if you looking for strength. As you have a training split on there... Strength gains on that we're better for me then strong lifts...

Yea I'm not measuring directly yet but I am checking how my clothes feel... Doing this more than weighing myself. I think scales though can be good to keep on track as that's the way we been conditioned in west... But more need to go on how they feel and look.

It's turned into an interesting discussion ... I've always been one to fav inches over scales... As like many have said other factors can make scales be lying.. Ie holding water I haven't started measuring yet but I'm noticing clothes feel diff.... So do I really need the scales to tell me if I'm doing good or bad ? I…

So far I'm doing it every 2/3 weeks as I get closer to my goal I think I'll do it more. As I need that check to make sure it's not slowly creeping back up... Too many years of burying head in the sand and not being accountable to scales has gradually made the weight creep up
-
I think I'm gonna start doing measurements soon as I'm more concerned with getting small than my weight on scale
-
I think this a method I want to start using as well, I think it's a lot better than just scales.
-
Interesting view points... I'm into my 4th week and have only weighed in once. I know it's going in right direction... So I would be disheartened if scales don't move as quick as id like. Using the mirror as a judgement

Know people who have used it with a lot of success, alongside carb backloading. I'm doing IF at the minute on week 1.
-
That's such an inspiring story and you did it so quickly. I'm hoping to be in a position where i can do the same and don't have to buy baggy clothes to hide behind. How did you manage to lose the weight so quickly? Did you a lot exercise as well?
-
Water is good choice as suggested,be better if you add in bcaa. Protein will definitely help fill you up too. You could use carb back loading if you train in evening.

Hi Trollie80 Yea I'm using mfp to track my food and I'm doing a exercise plan but trying to do intermittent fasting and carb backloading to speed up weight lost n mainly fat lost . 35kg is 5.5 stones or 77 lbs. So similar to me
