  • Plus I have a desk job so understand the feeling. X
  • Drink water and graze on fruit and veg (carrot stick, celery sticks). That’s what I do. I’m on the same sort of calories as you. So check out my diary or send a friend request if you’d like. Eggs are my go to if I feel super hungry! With my diary I’ve generally not been at all hungry! :)
  • 4 squares of dark chocolate melted and dip fruit (use banana and strawberries). And I’m an absolute chocoholic but it really helps! Also options hot chocolates are around 40 cals and help with cravings :)
  • Take some time for yourself. Relax, have a bath, meditate, read, buy a fancy body lotion or face mask. Listen to your body and mind and look after yourself, mentally and physically. It’s not just about losing weight, it’s about learning to love yourself and praise yourself for all your hard work. Also try some new recipes,…
  • Only recently started. But aiming for every Saturday morning, before breakfast and at the same time. Hoping it will stop Friday night splurges and set me up for being ‘good’ over the weekend. (Trying to lose 20lbs for now) I think if I did it every day I’d get obsessed and worry when my weight was constantly changing and…
  • Try a few squares of dark chocolate. Or melt the chocolate and dip fruit in it, banana, strawberries, makes it go further. Or sometimes something sweet like a ‘light’ hot chocolate which are around 40 calories with just hot water. They normally curve my cravings. Or distract yourself by reading or having a bath or going…
  • I make soups in bulk. Most freeze really well. Then heat a potion in the morning and use a flask. I don’t like eating bread in the middle of the day so avoid sandwiches and now in the UK it’s getting colder I want something more than a salad. Plus soups can be so diverse, always lots of flavors and you can hide extra veg…
  • Lorna Jane. It’s pricey but so so worth it. They are supportive and super pretty. Lots of styles and designs :)
  • Hello i do a mixture if cardio and weights it’s worth asking a gym instructor for a program (most gyms do a program for free, in mine you can have a new one every 6 weeks). They will show you how to use equipment correctly, push you to work to your full potential and advise on what you should be doing to achieve a set goal…
  • To me this question just seems crazy. Thank you UK for the NHS.
  • Thank you so much everyone. You’ve convinced me to give it a go! I’m hoping to add this on my ‘rest’ days on Sundays, so will let you know how I get on. But looking forward to it now and feeling less afraid. I will look on YouTube to get some ideas and then will brave a class at the gym, as I don’t really want to pay for…

  • You may have ME / CFS. I have mild ME, had every test possible. I don’t know if you have any further symptoms (aching joints, headaches, brain fog - everyone experiences different symptoms) but may be worth discussing with your doctor. I am currently managing it with group sessions and learning more about my triggers and…
  • Hello :) well done on getting motivated to get into the gym. If your gym has classes it’s a great way to discover new work outs and keeps you motivated. I would recommend getting an induction and a program so that you use the equipment correctly and also are able to work at a level that is suitable for you. If you can…
  • Hello I only just started here and aiming to lose at least 20lbs. I did a big food shop yesterday and got plenty of fresh veg and fruit. And also some frozen so it’s always easy to make smoothies or add veg to any meal. I’ve also prepared 3 different soups for the next 3 weeks of lunches (full of hidden veg!). I also made…
