Welcome! I love your wit with your resolutions!

Theoretically, anything is possible. Is it healthy? Not a freakin' chance. Weight loss is 80% in the kitchen -- so make changes to eat better if you can't get to the gym. Eventually, you'll have to make time to exercise and get fit.

Hi Tessa, welcome! I have an overall goal of losing 50-60 pounds, and just feeling better about myself overall. I'd love to support you on this journey -- feel free to add me!

Hey there! I'm aiming to lose 50-60 pounds in the long run, but I haven't set a timeline for it. I'm a meat-eating, sushi-loving workaholic living just outside DC.

Welcome and good luck!

Hey there! A little chocolate won't kill you if it fits in your daily calorie goal! The purpose of this is to learn to change eating habits, not to cut out all the good stuff for a short amount of time! Feel free to add me if you'd like some support!

I think a cheat meal is a better idea -- a cheat day has the potential to go really overboard! I don't schedule in cheat days or meals, but if I go over my calories because it's someone's birthday or my husband and I go out to a nice dinner, I chalk it up to life and work a little harder at the gym the next day. I don't…

I don't plan a cheat day, but I don't beat myself up if I end up over. For example, yesterday I went out to a spontaneous lunch with a friend on my off-day from the gym. I definitely ate more than I planned. I drank lots of water, and today I will work a bit harder and longer at the gym.

As long as you don't get bored. I can't eat the same thing more than 2 days in a row or I completely derail (read: go to the office cafeteria and get chicken tenders and fries..)

I tried it, but my Amazon DVDs kept skipping, so I ended up returning the whole thing. Honestly, I found the food part of it annoying -- I'd rather measure out food than mush all I can into a container. I also like having the option to have a glass of wine with dinner, or a beer in a football game, but alcohol was very…

Happy to support you all on the journey, too! I have about 60 pounds overall to lose, but I didn't set a timeline (I gained most of it AFTER my wedding, so while you're sweating-for-the-wedding, I'm just sweating!). Planning a big vacation with friends this summer though, so hoping to drop a big chunk before then so I…

Welcome! I am just like you -- had success on MFP a few years ago and then lost it over the past three years. I'm back with a vengeance and ready to conquer this one final time! I'd love to support you on your journey!

Hey Jessie! I just joined this week too. I'm 28 with 60 pounds to lose. I have a big sweet tooth too, which will be my biggest challenge. I'd love to be friends so we can make these positive changes together!

My end goal is 140, too! (I'm at 200 right now) Would love to be friends!

VA here, too! I'm hoping to lose 50-60 pounds, and keep it off! More exercise and better eating is my plan!

Always looking for new friends to keep me motivated!

Welcome! I have 60 pounds to lose overall, but I'm hoping that positive changes will help get me there more than stressing over the scale! Would love to connect! :)

Me too -- I joined a few years ago and lost 40 pounds...and stopped, and over the years, gained back 60. I could give all the excuses in the world, but it all gets me back to the place where I'm not happy looking at myself and disappointed that all my hard work before is lost. Here's to a new round, and keeping it off for…
