@jennylm87 Thanks so much for your suggestions...I am quite alright with the gluten free thing, I agree with you, there are some wonderful products out there! I am looking to bake my own bread soon, though I don't eat bread often, once in awhile, I like a sandwich. Happy to hear you are feeling better!

@angebean Hi, and thanks for your feedback. I do have Hashimoto's, hence the reason for this thread, you obviously didn't see that... I am monitored strictly; it has been a challenge. I will check out the autoimmune diet, I have already eliminated gluten...best of health to you!
-
@fitnforward Hey... Thanks so much for sharing with me, Your story is an inspiration, and I will definitely add you... That's awesome you are losing inches, I understand the slow rate at which losing comes with Hashimoto's, it is frustrating to say the least!

I found probiotics to be a trial and error... Unfortunately, seldom will it be that two people have the same experience, so you really have to find one that works for you...I think you just have to try out one that looks good to you and/or is recommended and if it's not giving you the desired results, try another…

I agree with apples... Apple pectin from the health food store in supplement form and probiotics are a must for me!
-
Happy to say I love my new Sunwarrior blend Vanilla! Made a smoothie with frozen strawberries, banana and organic low fat milk... I was pleasantly surprised and am looking forward to using this in the morning... Chocolate one tommorow...:)
-
@Talanch Interesting, thanks for the suggestions... I actually like the way it smells, and will try it tomorrow, usually use coconut milk, will try the rice milk also!
-
@Psychgrrl Want to try hemp...love the seeds...how would you describe the hemp protein?
-
@Ironmaiden4life Hey...I was looking at that one, funny you mention it because, up until I saw it the other day, I had never heard of it...will have to give it a try, I will most likely want a few products to switch on and off with...thanks for your feedback...
-
@MichelleS08 Heard it was good...thanks!
-
@Angelahamilton33 Ah, good find! I think the Sunwarrior is a great product...I am excited to add it into my morning smoothie...thanks for your feedback!
-
Hi... Yes, I am in...! Looking for minimum 40 pound loss, 60 pounds would be even better...
-
@Tavahi Good to hear! I felt comfortable with my decision... Looks like a great product and it smells awesome, so... I'm going to try it soon, so I intend to be ok with it... Thanks!
-
@KathyApplebaum Orgain was one of the two I was looking at but went with the Sunwarrior because I didn't want the rice protein. Will have to try it at some point, as I hear good things about it...thanks!
-
@worldofalice Oh, my... Well, I hope my experience is better than yours was, hahaha... All I can say is, I intend to like it ($$$$)! Never heard of it hat pea protein... Thanks...
-
@eugenia94102 Hey... Well, I got the Sunwarrior yesterday in both chocolate and Vanilla... The profile and price seemed the best for me, I didn't want rice protein. I want to try Vega, a bit costly right now but will try samples... Thanks for your feedback!

Probiotics definitely help me!
-
@BecomingBane Yeah, I couldn't have imagined living with it either...but we find strength we didn't realize we had sometimes...hey, I'm grateful for that diagnosis, it can always be worse! Thanks so much, wish you the same...
-
@BecomingBane I agree with you, my friend...for me, moderate intake of soy works great and the GMO thing, well, yeah, I am also not worried about it. We are all unique in our constitutions and I am happy to hear you found a good protocol to live by and are experiencing such awesome results with it! I am just finding out…
-
@BecomingBane Hey...Soy is certainly a controversy... For certain conditions like breast issues, it causes concern because of the estrogen like properties in it... For thyroid issues, it's known to interfere with function and absorption of thyroid meds... And then there's the GMO thing...totally a personal choice, though,…

I just posted similar question! I am going to try Sunwarrior Blend... Heard it was a good one...;):)
-
@sllm1 ah, thank you so much...it is a challenge, but it's ok...I know how you feel!
-
@motterotter @moyer566 Yes... The beginning is trial and error indeed... I notice that too intense of a workout stimulates the immune system too much for me... Better low intensity cardio and weight resistance exercises for me...I am just st learning to listen to my body...
-
@motterotter Oh, yeah, coleslaw is good.. Do those vegetables give you symptoms or affect your Bloodwork when you eat them? I was just reading an article by a Thyroid Doctor which said that, unless you have an issue with iodine and your thyroid, in moderation, they are ok...better cooked... Food for thought...;):)
-
@motterotter You can say that again... It's just really doing what works...Balance...and taking thyroid meds (Synthroid works best for me) is a must for me. Thanks, again!
-
@motterotter I agree with you... Definitely have to factor in the calorie and nutritional aspects for sure... Do you find cooking the goitrogens helps any?
-
@Kristinemomof3 @Jeneba Looks like Bobs Red Mill is on my list, thanks!
-
@Negative_X @aggelikik @Kristinemomof3 @galgenstrick @vinegar_husbands @maroonmango211 I replied to your comments above...thank you all!
-
@mweckler Thank you for the suggestions, I appreciate it! I love to cook myself, so I will definitely begin to try things out...
-
@diesel073 Thanks so much for sharing with me... Yes, it is challenging but with the effort in listening to our bodies, it does make things easier, for sure...
