The best advice is to do what works for you to where you will actually DO the work. For me it varies, I dont hold myself to a strict schedule I just have a requirement to do the workout that day. If the morning ends up not working because I needed extra sleep then it's just required to get it done as soon as I get home…

Definitely just see a doctor, and keep your exercise light between now and getting answers. I used to burp a lot during workouts and not eating beforehand has helped, but I never felt dizzy so that's what's concerning here. I'd stick with very light weights, not a huge challenge but enough that you feel accomplished and…

I did it this weekend too, makes me feel like a hypocrite because I spend a lot of time on here giving advice for how to avoid binges, yet still do it myself. The one takeaway for me? It's that I have absolutely seen myself making progress, binging much less often and MUCH less severely. I just learn more and more about my…

I was never sexual harassed until I lost weight. When I was big I could have just body slammed him. I'm scheduling a self defense course at the end of the summer for myself :)

I found that getting into even just slightly better shape improved everything in this department. My interest, my confidence, and my endurance all have improved lately. I expect this to continue as I move forward in my efforts. The more attracted I am to myself the more open I am for my partner, I find.

Can those be worn with shoes?

I nanny for twins and am constantly adding exercise into our day. First off we go for walks 2x a day for at least 30 minutes- boom there's my cardio. I do squats holding the babies, they each get 10 reps before I worry about my balance haha. Lunges are easy to do while I follow them around, just walking lunges down the…

I found a great pair of compression pants at target, they have a high waist that comes up to my actual true waist which is rare given how big my belly is. But I bought one size too small and they're fabulous. It keeps my giant tubby belly from bouncing. I honestly quit jogging faster because of the distraction, not because…

I have that issue on my outdoor walks, I've chalked it up to allergy season and it being a bit chilly still. I bring tissues to manage :)

I have tried to copy my work schedule onto my weekends, and would do it on any lengthy break but lol at that ever happening for me. But basically I plan to eat at roughly the same times and I have already prepared my lunches and snacks for the entire weekend so I don't have to think about what I want to eat and just grab…

Honestly I find it easiest to just stick to the plan when I'm upset, because it's become such a habit to spend a short amount of time on the weekend preparing food for the week ahead so I can just grab and eat, I don't have to think about it and can then focus on what ever else is going on. If you're having to wonder what…

*looks over shoulder to make sure he isn't standing behind me* Yes he's fat. He's in denial about it too. Well sort of. He knows he's bigger than he was in high school yet still spouts off his PRs from lifting in his football playing days, tries to tell me he's flexible enough to reach his toes from standing... Yet the man…

I have one dress I used to wear when I was 25lbs lighter than I am that I'd like to see myself in again and I have it hanging up on the wall in my room as a reminder. And I did buy a shirt one size too small for a reward, well a reward for the future, because it has Minnie mouse and was on sale. I haven't even tried it so…

Life brings us challenges. What you chose to do is what decides if you're growing as a person and learning from your past, or if you're stagnating. To me, chosing to eat the cake and start over next week is something old me would do. That's not growing. For me in your shoes, chosing to cut it into small pieces, sharing…

I think accepting that my journey is to health not to a certain appearance is huge. I haven't noticed any rash or irritation it's just uncomfortable for now, but I'm taking notes and figuring out what's reasonable to spend money on now that will just keep the day to day more manageable. Thanks for your support! I've been…

I find that days I just don't feel like it... I do it anyway and I've never once regretted it. It's yoga I think you will feel better about yourself if you get over the hurdle of getting out the door.

I am definitely growing to resent how FOOD CENTERED all events in my life are. I just plan ahead, we only have one Easter event because it's just not a big deal to my non religious family with grown children and my husbands family is the same but my MIL does have us over for lunch. I'm just eating my usual food before we…

Please look at my diary. I eat slightly more per day than you're trying to, but I am SO full after each meal I almost never entirely finish and getting high enough protein is what got me here. Obviously you don't need to eat the same foods but maybe increasing protein would help you. And remember it's only day one... The…

The thing with lifelong anxiety and a history of bullying, is that I can logically know adults have something better to do than to judge me. But the few that did or still do are why we are anxious. There is always someone who feels entitled to make comments about others. But thank you for sharing your insight and how you…

I had the same problem and sat down with my log in hand and just did the math. What meals are working for me? I have whole egg+egg whites for breakfast, one scoop protein shake at some point, a lunch of a good portion of chicken and veggies, and dinner always has a double protein servings. Snacks are almonds for good…

Yep! I've attributed it to an overall less volume of food, and eating foods that get broken down more slowly. These are good things, so I try to think of my less frequent movements as a "good" thing too but it's uncomfortable sometimes more mentally than physically I think. I just have been so used to how my body used to…

Me! I started at 320, down 77lbs. Have been as low as 100lbs lost but gained some back, here again with an end goal of at least another 75-80lbs.

If you were severely overweight and under doctor supervision that might be acceptable but you're far too close to a healthy weight for such a low calorie intake. No one ever believes this advice until it happens to them, but crash dieting will only lead to regaining the weight in the future because your energy and health…

I'm looking for options to improve comfort now through the end of my journey. I'm no where near a reasonable goal weight so it's just not even on the radar to involve doctors. Looking for day to day comfort ideas. Thanks though :) I highly doubt I will ever get a doctor approval, I think those cases are for people who have…

Thank you VERY much, this addressed most of my concerns and I hadn't thought of a reusable towel type option, I think I could make that work. I worry about Spanx and compression clothing just for the ease of bathroom use, I drink tons of water and need trips to be quick because I'm a nanny of infant twins recently mobile!

I've lost 75, I think I'm doing fine. These won't fix lose skin, to the extent that I already have I know how much worse it will get. It will not bounce back no matter how many weights I lift. Edit: this is just a problem I've grown to accept. I was too heavy for too long for me to expect it to get "better", the overhang…

Do you know much about the available products? I worry about bathroom use and the ease of going about my day. I drink a lot of water and tend to wear yoga pants /athletic pants to work because of the activity level.

This is why I'm worried to use any powder, but I will do my research and see if there are good talc free options.

Absolutely. Honestly making this change is what's finally clicked. With less carbs and not having them be the center of a meal, I have way more food volume and more satiated foods, and have not been hungry all week since boosting my protein goal. I have a one scoop protein coffee on my way to work, whole egg/egg whites…

As far as making your cooking/logging easier, have you tried simplifying your meals? I basically rotate the same 4-5 dinners, all in almost the same proportions so I can weigh it then just use saved meals from my own logging past. It's made it a lot easier on me. You can try whatever you think will work for you, lasting…
