I ordered Qi Gong For Beginners by Chris Pei from Amazon. I also ordered his Tai Chi for Beginners. They should be here this weekend. I'll let you all know how they are once I have used them for a while.

It's a great day for me today...cold and rainy...which I love. Living in Florida I sometimes get sick of sunshine 24/7. I'm excited because my Tai Chi DVD's are coming in the mail today, so tomorrow I can get started learning Tai Chi. Something I've always wanted to do and it will burn calories too. A win, win!!

I appreciate everybody's thoughts on this subject. Thank you for posting. I think I'll stick with MFP and the calorie counting because as a lot of you said, it doesn't matter where the calories come from as long as you stay under your count!! Thanks again.

Have over 100 pounds to lose. Starting this Monday with exercise, food proportioning and drinking water. Needing all the motivation I can get!! :smile: My sister swears by MFP so I'm giving it a try. I'll take any tips and tricks anyone has to give. Thanks

Count me in if you'd like. I need to lose way more than you do and am starting this Monday, with exercise and dieting (I know that's a horrible word), um let's say, a change in food intake.
