  • Weigh in day and I've done it! Woohoo! Maybe time for another pound or so before my holiday on the 19th  Lots of luck to you all ladies - 4 days to go!
  • NSV - wore trousers yesterday that I bought at Christmas and were several inches too small at the waist/tummy, couldn't even have dreamed of wearing them at that point! Hooray! Come on ladies, not long to go, we can do it!!
  • Hey everyone, Weigh in day today, another 2lbs gone, hurrah! Total for this challenge is now 8lbs and I'm hoping to get another 3lb off by the 18th (holiday!). Keep up the good work everyone, and enjoy the Super Bowl (I don't even know what the superbowl is, I'm British, but it sounds like it's a good excuse for a party!!).
  • Thank you all for the words of support after my less that satisfactory week, the encouragement really makes me think I can still do it!
  • Have to admit I haven't had the best week this week but won't go into details because I don't want to discourage anyone. However, I've still dropped another lb so I'm going in the right direction still (am annoyed with myself because midweek I had lost a further 2 lb!). 6lbs to go to hit my 11lb target, 2.5 weeks - let's…
  • A good day for me calorie wise; porridge with strawberries for breakfast, half an enormous (400g!) jacket potato for lunch and the other half for dinner. Both times with tuna mayo. My snacks were 3x whiskey and cokes this evening!
  • Thanks Carmen, and the same back atcha! Today is a soupy day for me, made a parsnip and sweet potato soup at lunch time and will have the same for dinner with a couple of pieces of bread and butter. Had a Kinder Bueno as a snack - those things are sneaky...it said 122 calories on the packet but then I looked closer and…
  • It was weigh in day for me today and I lost 3lbs, yay! 8 more to go to hit my 11lbs target.
  • A good day here. A couple of apples, Cauliflower Cheese soup with a slice of toast and butter for lunch, and dinner was a tandoori chicken recipe with potatoes and veg. The tandoori chicken was great actually, here's the recipe if anyone is interested; http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1660651/tandoori-chicken Enough…
  • Yesterday was a carbon copy of the previous day; banana, veg soup with a slice of toast & butter, prawn curry with rice and a couple of Tuc biscuits. 14000 steps. Today's plan is banana, noodles for lunch and cauliflower soup for dinner. Step count will be low today though.
  • A good day for me today, I had a banana for breakfast, homemade veg soup for lunch followed by a pear, and snacked on some Tuc biscuits. Walked 7 miles according to FitBit. Dinner is a tomato based Thai curry with prawns, c.450 calories or so.
  • I had a lie in today so also had lunch and dinner together, a lovely roast. Roast chicken, roast pots, roast parsnips and steamed broccoli, cauliflower and peas. And gravy. It was fabulous but very calorific, BUT I'm still under my calorie goal (about 1380 or something). Sunday is Roast Day and that won't change until…
  • I'm in! My goal is actually 12lb by the 18th Feb (holiday!). I'm on the rather large side (!) so I'm hoping its achievable and also relatively healthy to do so. I'm not going to post about today's food because it's Sunday Roast day! Tomorrow my plan is to start the 30 day shred too if anyone else wants to join in?!
