I am rather fond of dragons though... it would be better not to have to kill one. Is there a substitute? "Beyond Dragon" tongue or something? Although either option is probably still easier than trying to find a virgin would have been where I used to live... I suspect dragons are more common. ;)

Thank you! They sound more like "colour by numbers" sort of things, but perhaps I'll give it a try for something different. :) (I used to do a lot of actual cross stitch, but switched to paper crafts when my eyes got worse. I have so many kits I'd like to make at some point, though!)

I did the Chair Yoga today - I wanted to try the Chair Abs one, but discovered that it's way too painful to try and pull my knees up like that right now! So I'll stick to the routines that are easier on my back... I might just alternate this one and the "Back Fix" routine for now.

@BMcC9 I've seen you mention colouring apps before... would you mind sharing details? :) I love to colour for relaxation/therapy but sometimes I find it uncomfortable to lean over the table with a traditional book and pens and it gives me backache.

Come down to the Calgary area, it's sunny and warm here! ;)

I checked my settings and it's 50c/30f/20p (maybe the same as yours depending on where you're looking - a friend told me they show up in a different order on the mobile app). Protein maybe should be a little higher, but many days I struggle to reach this amount as it is. I don't really worry about going over on individual…

Nuts are a great way to get some healthy fats and other nutrients, and many people find them satisfying, but yeah - calorie bombs! You have to weigh them carefully and not just grab "a handful". :) (Same with nut butters - most people are sad when they find out how much their "tablespoon" really weighs.) Sodium and carbs…

@jugar I'll try for 2lbs for Green July - I'm honestly not very confident of managing even that much right now, but I'll give it a go! Who knows, maybe I can shift a little more. :)

Welcome to the cool gang! :)

Also - probably the best advice anyone can give on these forums... :) https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1

If you're not having the success you're looking for, I would weigh and log everything , food, drink, condiments etc. - including your weekends. As you get down to the last few pounds/kilos you have less room for error, and if you're not logging your weekends you could be wiping out your deficit even if you don't think…

I just finished this first one... I hurt my back about a week ago and it's still painful, so some of these were uncomfortable, but I did the best I could. :) Maybe they'll help to ease the back pain a bit too! Some of the exercises on the other posters might be a bit too much of a challenge right now, but I'll see how it…

Fair enough! But do take it easy - you did just recently grow and deliver a new human, after all, so don't be too hard on yourself either mentally or physically. :) I'm hypoglycemic too - low blood sugar, get shaky if I don't eat regularly - so I can't skip breakfast, which is often a handy way for people to save a few…

I haven't tried Vegemite but I heard the same thing! :)

Congratulations on your newest arrival! :) Check out this thread for tips on making weighing and logging your intake easier: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10498882/weighing-food-takes-too-long-and-is-obsessive/p1 Also, I know this is only a random stranger's opinion but I think you look pretty good at…

"Onion rings", presuming that you mean the breaded or battered kind, are not the same as the fried onions I like (and rarely get) in a hot dog. :)

I had to go back several pages to confirm that these comments do relate to Marmite as I'd suspected. :) The TV ads in the UK were all along the lines of "you either love it or hate it", but there are some people who are kind of in the middle! My husband adores the stuff and will have it spread thickly in sandwiches. (I…

Yes, it is. Although it probably gets called ketchup more often these days because of the influence of NA culture. :) And it definitely belongs on a hot dog (virtually the only place I use it), preferably along with fried onions!

This was me a couple of months ago... :)

Good luck with the juggling! It'll be an adjustment for your husband, but I expect he'll get used to it after a time. Maybe have him very slowly increase his fruit intake? I don't know if it's a common issue, but I've had "uncomfortable problems" in the past if I suddenly start eating more fruit than usual... ;)
-
No. If it works that well, it ain't legal. :) (edit: Or safe!) Don't waste your money. Use this site as it's intended, set reasonable goals, and have patience. Eat food you like, in appropriate amounts. You might have a "whoosh" of a few pounds of water weight in the first week or two, but that will tail off. Expect it to…

Not specific enough! Are we talking 3 days lifting to 0 days cardio? You left off the other half of the "vs"! Other than that, pretty sound advice. :)

More information?

Perhaps that's the secret! A bottle a day is quite a bit... for a lot of people, anyway! ;)

To be fair, the women's cover does just say "in 15 minutes" and doesn't specify per day. So I just have to exercise once, for 15 minutes, and all my belly fat will be completely blasted, right? Right...? ;)
