  • @AB0215 thanks - fully understand, think you do an amazing job pulling everything together and we all thank you for it. I do use an iPad and it’s when I see the notifications telling me there are 48 new ones - just blows my mind lol. I shall carry on and hopefully don’t miss anything important - thanks again
  • @gjaholy33 I so agree with your post on emotional eating. It’s a snap moment when I will weaken and then the guilt and shame drops in and I then continue to eat anything because I feel I have ‘ruined it’ for the day.
  • @AB0215 - I’m with you on eating the meat, I would really struggle without that, especially as I’m not too keen of the veggie stuff ( my nickname is ‘don’t eat green’ lol. Question, how does everyone keep up with all the posts? Not being very techy I would find it much easier if we had a thread to log figures but another…

  • @RangerRickL - totally agree with the logging issue - I fell off the wagon big time and the pounds just crept on, so back to basics for me, and no more guessing. Monday’s fast on the 5:2 went well (the fasting days do not have to be consecutive) and as for today: Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, took part on 2…
  • Hi Rick - yes, for two days a week you limit the amount of calories to 500 - 600 a day and on the other days you can eat to your tdee. I’ve seen a lot of successful stories about this so thought I would give this a go along with your challenge to keep me on track. Day one has worked, but if I find the low calorie option…

  • Hi I’m Rita a newbie from the U.K. I’m 67 years young and have been trying to lose 14 pounds for some time now. I have been a member of a couple of other challenges and think I have become complacent and so this may be the change I need. Holiday to Turkey is booked for September so there’s my goal 🤞

  • Goals 1. In six weeks I want to be 4.5 pounds lighter. I know that doesn't seem a lot but I have yo-yoed the last 7 pounds for a year now and I want to make a proper dent the that excess weight. :) 2. To make a definite effort to choose the healthier option when eating out with friends and family. I usually end up saying…

  • I can so relate with you Vicki, I have had such a bad week with eating out most days, cakes and chocolates in the office and no motivation to keep up the exercise - hence putting on a whopping 5 pounds. Before this I have been stuck at the same weight for ages so it's time to take proper stock. I am going to give the 5:2…

  • Challenge #2 Week 2 - RANDONNEE ON REUNION!” (5 km outside) I chose this challenge as I love walking outside (providing it is dry) especially in rural areas. It gives you the perfect opportunity to think and analyse your life and what is currently happening in it.
