Yes its for real. I just burned 530 calories in 47 minutes with a half mile walk and strength training.

This and other statements like it make me feel better. I can't stand walking 1.1 mph- ridiculous.

I was doing C25K, but due to my weight and my knees I had to stop. My doctor told me to try again once I am below 300. Can't wait.

I wear hearing aids due to nerve deafness. The nerves that connect to my balance centers are also affected. I cannot walk on a treadmill without holding on, or I will fall. We're not all so blessed as to be able to do that simple little thing.

Well, had to trade out my shoes below for these: I had to swap out my Brooks Ghost 5's due to a defective shoe (the inside of the heels were rolling down, giving me heel blisters). Went back to Finish Line, and the customer service was TOP NOTCH. They swapped out my shoes for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12's in this picture.…

This whole weight training thing is totally new for me. Before this week I had not been in a gyn in over 25 years, and this is the first time I've ever had a real weight training regimen/plan.

I don't pronate, so I'm good there. The running store closest to me was way out of my way, but I am going to go the next time I buy a pair. I wore these yesterday, and I could see huge boost in comfort while walking around in them.

I was going to say the same thing. I weigh over 300 pounds. I've lost 40. It takes so much energy just to move we burn more calories if we are big.
