Bumping for new members. If you are not a new member, please let someone who is know about this list!

Wow, never heard of this before. Been concerned about being ugly with marks after I lose my weight. I will be investigating this.
-
You are welcome! :)

My wife is slim and trim. And she loved me when I was 40 pounds heavier. I am still way overweight, but she loves me anyway. That being said... No way she finds me attractive. She couldn't. Love may be blind but common sense is not. I owe it to her to become as attractive to her is she is to me.

Welcome. When I was a newbie, I was overwhelmed with the acronyms. Go here to get a list of common acronyms and terms used on the site (I update it monthly): http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/791166-acronyms-and-terms-for-new-mfp-members-v-3-2

Don't belittle your success as compared to others. Fantastic job!

Pretty before, and stunning after!

150 pounds? In six months? Not to rain on your parade, but I have to ask: How? That's around 6 pounds a week, give or take a bit. Not what most experts consider a healthy rate of weight loss.

In my next edition, and at the bottom of the list, I will place a link to this site for generic internet acronyms: http://www.netlingo.com/acronyms.php

I have YMMV, I think. BUMP is in the list as well. I will add the other two in a future release- thank you! Opinions sought: For this board, should I limit the acronyms listed to MFP and Health and Wellness acronyms only? For example- SMH (Shaking My Head)- that's not an MFP term or Health Term, so would it be beneficial…

Done, and thank you!

So glad I'm married and my wife never stopped loving me!

^^^^^^^ I'm a fat guy and I approve this message.

Thanks, keralynn89!

I could, but it feels weird, And it feels weird not to wear it, too, though. I may just wear it every day with the band aids.

Fantastic!!!

"War Eagle, fly down the field, never to run, never to yield..." A proud Auburn fan here! I was a fan before Cam was there, so I am a true blue "Dye-hard" Auburn fan! War Eagle! Yeah!

As a married man I do not message females on my friend list but rarely. If I have something to say I say it publicly. I will hardly ever even private message the guys I am friends with. My flirting is reserved for my wife and my wife alone. She's all the hotness I can handle, anyway! :blushing:

Funny how the mind makes all the difference- now you can starting owning that goal! Great job!

Now, what I am about to say may be skewered and ridiculed, and even derided by others here, but this is what has worked for me, YMMV. I have done this three times, and I have lost 36 pounds so far. I have gone off watching calories and quit exercising for seven days. I did not pig out, but I ate until I was full ( I was…

I've lost 36 pounds so far. I wrote this when I had only lost 14 at the time: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/673206--nine-more-times?hl=more+times#posts-10486188 I have 120 pounds left to lose.

I know. And already, they are falling off a bit, and they did fall down once when I was putting groceries away. Now, when I put my belt on tight enough to hold them up, the front of the waist line puckers and slips out from underneath my belt.
-
Were I to use this I would wind up dead due to my balance problems. I can hardly walk on a treadmill even when holding on.
-
Where's a "Like" button when you need one? Great story!
-
^^^ This. I need to start back on mine. I have the 2011 version. Is 2012 better?
-
On my fourth try at Weight Watchers, at my initial weigh-in. I still can't bring myself to admit publicly how much I weighed, but that day, I, a grown man, nearly cried. I resolved that day to do something about it. Today, 31 pounds later/lighter, I am still going strong! Jusr 127 pounds left to go, lol!

Bump for later reading.
