I have had weeks where I would fluctuate 8-10 pounds. I do not care about the 1-3 pounds. But I could be 165 on Friday, and the 173 on Monday, and then back down.

I am getting my cholesterol and blood glucose checked tomorrow, Not only am I not worried about it, I am looking forward to seeing my numbers.

I go for Greek yogurt. It has the probiotics that antibiotics kills off even though you need them.

As long as I keep going in the right direction in the long term, I am successful. This past month I might have had more bad days then normal, but I made up for them, and I have been maintaining successfully for over a month day, even with less exercises and moving around less because I have been sitting in class

We all make mistakes. You relized that, not move forward, and take off what you out on. You did it once, and now it is a lot less you have to take off. Take this as a learning experience.

I was 39 when I started my journey to lose 160 pounds, and get into shape. It might of taken us longer, or might be more work, but defiantly possible.

I am just starting out. I think it is going to take time to tweak my regiment. I get really bad when I see what i think is a huge pile of things to do, and go into an anxiety/panic attack. Then I start making silly mistakes and feel I am a failure. I will see if the meds help calm down enough that I do not fear spending…

I know D-bags (or just ignorant fools) can hit a nerve, But I found skimming over idiotic post easier then dealing with people like him in person. I try (often not successfully) just to ignore B.S. that comes out of some peoples mouth.

People do not think about how many calories they put in their body. Their are so many high calories food easly available, often strategically placed in store for impulse buying. People have to learn self control and moderation.

After a few months, finally remembered to measure my waist. I am down 3/4 of an inch.

I hear that.

thanks, Just trying to learn my body, and what causes certain responses.

Taking things one day at a time. I just want to be prepared. I tend to overdo things sometimes, which is part of problems. I Have been stress eating a little more then normal recently, hopefully the meds will help me get that under control.

I do not eat added sugar just because I figure it is an easy way to cut calories. I do not want to cut out natural sugars like fruit, or I like to have some carbs, and i always make room for my daily Greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom. That I consider a tasty treat for the day, and it fits into my calorie goals.

IS any on here taking Sertraline /Zoloft? some of the side effect sound scary. warning also says it can change a person's appetite. I do not want to loose control and put weight back on.
-
Thank for the advise, but I do exercise regulery (at least an hour a day of cardio, and weights when i can) and I am going back to school. I was just tired have anxiety over school despite getting b+ average grades.

When I get bad, it is more of anxiety and panic that hit's me. I think I need a combo of things to help. I am slowly getting things done on step at a time. Is any one else on Zoloft? and how was their reaction to it?
-
Never said their wasn't a light at the end of the tunnel. My Dr. Says my case is not that bad, and is just giving my a low dose of Zoloft to help me relax. I will see how it goes, and if i need group therapy, I will keep an open mind, and make an appointment in a couple of weeks.

Not to belittle your experience, I have never, and will never go through partium depression, being a guy. What did it for me, is so far I am getting a B+ in my class, I am down 160+ pounds and now a healthy weight, and am 100 week nicotine free, and yet sometime I go through bad episode of feeling like a failure. Plus I…

I am glad you found something that works for you. ( I hope that did not come out sarcastic). exercise alone does not do it for me. When I have tests and chores coming up, they seem to pile up even though I seem to do ok, and get everything done OK. I might have an anxiety disorder mixed in,

So I am not quoting a bunch of replies. I exercise regularly everyday, about an hour a day now that i started school again. I sleep well, I have a CPAP machine to treat my sleep apnea. I had a metabolic panel done last october. My b12 was on the high side of normal, and my vitamin D was on the low side of normal, so I…

I exercise everyday, often it will not help with my mood.

I do not think it is serious, maybe mild or moderate. I am going to the doctor in a hour just to see what she thinks I should I do. I want to play it safe.
