What are you doing for reps per set? Do you mix it up or try to stick with like 3 sets of 20?

When my body stops responding I switch it up with (ex. Dumbell bench instead of barbell) so if you are consistently using machines, maybe try cables? Or alternate low reps high weight one week and high reps low weight the next?
